guys, i'm proud to say that I tried this a year ago. as much as possible i tried to do her exercises (the videos of her in white) everyday or as much as possible every two days for a year. I've tried tons of workout videos on youtube and did them as religiously as i could and i haven't received any compliments until i tried her series. Thank you so much Helen! I'm 19 now and was bullied a lot when i was 17 because besides being chubby I was a lot taller and had a wider figure (broad shoulders & hips) than the desired petite, slim asian figure a majority of people deemed as perfect. I worked hard. Not to please everyone but to reach my goal of being 'comfortable in my own skin'. I was super insecure and shy. I'm still a shy kid but fixing my health and adapting more active habits than lying on my bed all the time really helped me build up my own confidence. Idk why but working out not only helps you look great but it made me FEEL great. Like frl I'm always in a good mood now when i start my day with a 15 min exercise in the morning ahahaha My weight is now well within my 'healthy' BMI range and I thank you Helen so much! :) I now love the broad shoulders and hips i used to be ashamed of before because now they just add to my curves! PS to ppl who get nervous about this video because of her GODDESS LEVEL OF FLEXIBILITY AHAHA. She's a ballerina so she can pull her leg above her head as far as she wants because of their long time training I'm STILL not as flexible as she is ahaha. Sure, do the exercise but to your limit. No rush, love. I actually love her stretches because they made me more flexible and frl when i started I couldn't even straighten my leg when I would pull it up ahahaha

2 weeks my family and i saw the difference, in a month everyone started noticing :) i love all her videos of her wearing the white leotard for slimming my arms, slimming my legs and for generally making my flat butt much rounder ahahaa! but i needed something 'more' for ab exercises. i liked doing fitness blender's 10 min abs tone it up's bikini abs xhit's 10 min abs (i do any one of those three once every other day along with any leg exercise i feel like doing that day)

To anyone doubting their ability to do this workout: PLEASE TRY IT!!! I have always stored most of my fat on my butt and legs and even long distance running didn't get my legs as toned as Ballet Beautiful. You don't need to be very flexible to do these exercises. I can't do everything JUST like her, especially during stretches, so I only do what I can. Just focus on what your body CAN do at this moment, and work with that ; D

I have been doing this, inner and outer thigh workout for a month now every other day. Results are incredible. My height is 174 cm and a month ago my weight was 56 kg. Now my weight is 52 kg. I was skinny and my goal was not been to lose weight but I was wanted to tone my legs and butt. I fell much stronger and flexible. I am going to countinue doing these workouts with abs and arms workout twice a week. And note to everyone: Everyones body is different and to see results it may take more or less time. You are doing this for yourself and last thing you can do is to take care for your body because it is the only body you got to live in. Good luck everyone XO

De-lurking because I thought everyone would appreciate my story. I've been doing Ballet Beautiful for 1.25 years now. I was determined to only write in after I'd been consistent for at least a year because I'm all about the long-term results. Before I started, I was 130 pounds, which is the heaviest weight I've ever been. For reference, I'm only 5'2" with a very petite bone structure. Depression and a broken heart had overtaken my life, and my weight crept upward because I became very inactive with an imbalanced diet (all carbs, no protein, no vegetables.) I tried to get back in shape a few times with some success, but after a few months I'd stop and fall back into my slump. One day, I was browsing Amazon for yoga workout videos when I saw MHB's first DVD, and something just clicked. I KNEW that I found the right workout program for me, so I ordered her first two DVDs plus a yoga mat (I like to have extra copies in case the internet is down) and researched obsessively while I waited. Wow. These workouts are tough! No other workout burns like Ballet Beautiful! I lifted very heavy weights in high school and loved that, too, but it made me very bulky. I was skeptical of all the raves of how fast this works, and after a week I noticed a difference in muscle definition. After two weeks, my legs had started to change shape. And I was only doing TWO of the four sets with extra stretch breaks three times per week. Starting out slowly helped me adjust to the burn, learn and keep proper form, and kept me from feeling burned out so I could keep my schedule up. I'd already been eating healthy for three months prior to beginning BB. I noticed that my hunger went WAY up, and I had to start eating more to ensure my body had enough fuel to get me through the day. After four months of BB plus eating more healthy food, I started getting compliments from everyone about my "supermodel muscles" or how I look like a ballerina with leggings and a peplum top. People even mistake me for being 5'5" instead of 5'2". The 30 pounds I'd gained from that dark period in my life were GONE! My glutes have never been this firm, even in my heavy lifting days, but I still wear the same size jeans I wore prior to my weight gain. Instead of bulky quads I have graceful lines in my legs. My center is more lean and taut than it's ever been! I'm even two cup sizes smaller than I was the last time I was this weight. I've never felt so happy with myself (been going to therapy), and my mental health is continuing to improve. I love working out and I love fueling my body with a wide variety of wholesome food. I now do these workouts 4 to 6 days a week for 45 minutes to an hour. I'm so grateful for this workout because it's easy to follow, easy for travel, and I love how it helps me stay focused while kicking my butt. Thanks for reading!

Hey, miumiu, I'm so happy to hear that my experience has inspired you! Before I started this workout, my calves were quite muscular, so I didn't expect them to slim down much. Once I reached my goal weight range, I measured and discovered they had gone down two inches. I got some nice definition, plus my ankles were smaller as well. I didn't have any cellulite on my lower legs, but I definitely had some on my thighs and butt. It's totally gone now, and that's less than when I lifted weights and ran all the time. :) I mostly do the BB mat workouts with a little of her standing work, which is supposed to be good for the calves. OH MY GOD! I have just finished my first go at all of ballet beautiful... She makes this looks so easy when you watch, but when you actually do it, its so hard! My legs and butt are actually burning which is great, beacause you know its working. I am also sweating too which is fantastic! These ballerinas are so strong its mad! I will be doing this 3x a week and im looking forward to seeing my results :D

I've been doing this set coupled with the inner thigh and outer thigh routine for 3 weeks, I was shocked when one fine day while bathing I looked at my thigh area and both sides have slimmed down a lot. no longer that thick wobbly leg area but they are so firm strong and lean. not only that I was fascinated to find myself also losing 2kg

I did it for around 3-4 times a week, together with 2 days of dancing class. Making a conscious effort to drink lots of water and having fruits on the go was also key to me:) so I wont start munching on sugary food after exercise

Addie Doolan yes i did. i eat lean cuisine's 340 calories or less, progresso soups, and pineapple slices, fuit cups, apples. i don't drink juice anymore. occasionally i'll have vegetable juice but i mainly only drink water. rarely will i have milk

I've been doing the whole hour long video for over a month now (3-4 x a week) and it's significanly easier for me...I can do all the reps now almost effortlessly. And my legs are amazing...really toned and lean! So I recommend this for sure!

It means that you have to focus on your stomach muscles and try to keep it strong and tight during the training. It's ballet kind of keeping your belly muscles and in general all body always tight and straight, like ballet dancers are doing.

RESULTS: IT WORKS. Since I was already skinny and I already had some muscle, it took more than the average two weeks to see results, but I've been doing this 6 days a week for about a month now, and I'm starting to see some serious changes in my booty (it's MUCH bigger and higher - I love it) and legs (great calves, slender thighs). So yes, it is definitely worth it and it gets A LOT easier after a week or so. Pity it's so boring, I think I will continue for another month and then switch to something else because it's too repetitive for me.

I LOVE ballet beautiful. I was looking for 1 of her other workouts & found this instead. It is basically doing 448 bridges all in all. It is for a really avid fitness person or professional ballet dancer (former one here🙀💁). You would achieve great results by only doing HALF of this, 4 or 5 times per week. So, do not worry if you this is too difficult or too much for you - it IS really difficult & quite a lot of bridges!

i tried this for 1 month and the results were insane! I used to be fat near my leg a lot and then all of a sudden, people started giving me compliments. once i got home, i looked in the mirror and almost fainted because of how much fat was gone from my legs. the next day i had to go to the doctor's for a shot and then they took my weight and i lost about 15 pounds all just from my legs. Hei everyone! I found this videos Beautiful Ballet at least one year ago, but when I saw it for the first time, it thought it was boring work out, no action and I didn't try to do it. I was watching many different work out videos, most of them are not interesting for me. So I went to evening classes at ballet, I did it 2-3 times a week and I liked to do ballet, my spine got much more straight, I feel that I began to hold my neck also more straight and up, I feel that my legs got beautiful sculptures. But now ballet classes are closed because of summer holiday, so some time ago I again found this videos and decided just to try and see how is it going. And Wow! It looks so simple and boring, but when you are doing it!!! First time I felt pain everywhere, even after my regular trainings with ballet I got muscles pain and every single time when I'm doing work out I feel like my muscles are burning and all body gets so warm inside! I'm really positively surprise! I can see it on my body.

Ok guys ! I starting this today with the others ballet beautiful playlist.(1 hours ^^)I will do it 6 times a week (Sunday i do Nothing lol).With 1200cal/day that my dietician gave me.I do 95 kg for 165cm.Every week I will make my results here, to see the difference of my body. I started this but it wasnt perfect :s. I think It's better to do at their own pace.Give me good luck i need it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!P-S : sorry if my English is bad :(.

@@Monika-yg6fu maybe you're using your stomach muscles/back muscles to lift your body up. a good tip is to squeeze your butt every time you lift up into the bridge. that way, you'll be able to feel a burn in your butt and subsequently, your legs as well. another thing you can try is doing the bridge on demipointe (doing it on tiptoes). hope this helps!

When she says squeeze, I pull my heels toward the butt. Squeeze the calves against the hamstrings. See if that helps activated the butt muscles and hamstrings.

She is stunning!!! I love her calm, relaxing voice for these exercises...i did the NYC ballet workout video for years after having years of nonprofessional ballet training and being a devoted pilates member...it was the most challenging, difficult workouts ive ever done- even being as fit and strong as i thought i was...i have so much respect for ballet dancers...we all forget easily that they are athletes that disguise their incredible moves with grace and poise

To make the one legged bridge slightly easier you can rest the raised leg on the supporting one.

I've been doing this exercise since December I think and even though my thighs haven't changed, my legs are so long and slender. They are the prettiest they have ever been. There are so feminine and slim. I absolutely love the outcome and won't stop here. Also some cellulite is diminishing as well.

Best butt workout! I definitely felt the burn on the butt!! I always work my buttwith squats and weights and I my legs got really big . So I’m trying to slim them because My legs don’t fit into my jeans . :(

Woah! I love this! I have been trying to burn my thighs and shape my butt with squats and all it does is hurt my knees... This is so much different! It burns more effectively than squats and more importantly, it doesn't hurt my knees! Highly recommend this! Love it! (Been doing this for 3 days and I already can see the results! No kidding)

I'm doing her workouts for abs, arms, 2 for legs and 2 for butt 6 days a week for about 2 months, and I've really got strong and fit! Now I can do them without stoppage and it has got much easier!

I agree the beginning stretches were rushed but remember you can pause the video and take 10 minutes stretching if you want. This will also help you achieve the correct position.

okay, a little advise, watch this on laptop and open vs fashion show on your phone definitely helps you to forget the pain and a great reminder why you started doing this in the first place, much much much easier, I've done everything from the start to the end with out stopping for the first time

I don't think I've ever felt the muscles this workout was engaging, wow. ill try to do this every morning for a month (with breaks on Sundays) 9/22/2020 : did about half of every workout, I don't have much lower body strength or flexibility. 9/23/2020: only got to 6:00 minutes, but did most of everything. wondering if i should warm up before these . 9/24/2020: to around 6:15 did more than yesterday and only skipped one rep of one workouts and half of the one at 6:00. it burned a whole lot more today so i must be fixing my form . 9/25/2020: I did It! got to 7:00 without adding breaks! and I did every set! I'm starting to like the burn lol. 9/26/2020: woke up late this morning, and I have a busy day. will either do this before bed or maybe make today my rest day and continue tomorrow.- decided on doing it tomorrow . 9/27/2020: late workout, did everything till 7:00 again :) now , how to not give up till the end of the video. this is very encouraging tho. 9/28/2020: 😂 is it too early? I feel a but stronger in my legs , also my calves hurt and I didn’t think this workout would touch my calves at all 😂 I need to get her stretches as well. I did it today . 9/29/20: done for today, I don't know it got more difficult again XD. 9/30/2020: Got to 10:17! the earlier exercises are much easier now but that single leg bridge kill'd me T.T hope i get better at it tomorrow. Also i feel like my cellulite is less cellulity,10/1/2020: I did quick cardio instead(jumping rope). I have a paper due tomorrow and 24 hours doesn’t feel like enough time . I should be free to push through it tomorrow. 10/5/2020: wow have I really been gone for 5 days :o. I had a pretty tough weekend and waking up in time to do this was impossible, however I did her swan arms workout today and will continue the legs tomorrow.

The first time I couldn't do almost none of the exercises but I pushed myself to do as much as I could. I stopped at 6 minutes or so. Today, the second time, I did almost all of it (12 minutes) without struggling so much. I could breathe more easily and I was able to relax a bit actually during the open legged bridges. My lower back also feels good after these exercises.

i did this 4 times over the course of 5 days; it didnt make much of a change to my thighs but made my hamstring muscle more noticeable and lifted my butt. Im eating mostly clean and do little bits of cardio here and there.

One of the most HARDEST and most effective workouts I have EVER done seriously!! I loooved the wide leg bridges, they felt more effective and somehow easier for me to do.. Definitely gonna do this in the future because I feel like this works wonders! Wow I'm so sweaty, I can't even imagine how hard the abs must be.. I've been doing this 60-min workout since January this year with very few results. I just added a bosu ball last week to this routine, however, and I'm sweating for the first time. This is a very good sign!

LOVE your workouts reason why I bought two of your DVDs, however I rarely work with them because it requires that I have to switch the DVD/TV on, move my couch table to have enough place to do the exercises etc... One year ago: is it over yet? Today: Is it already over? When I first did these series of ballet exercises, I was like ”is this even possible” So I thought for the next and the next time, but I never quit. I saw that she has made this video official and decided to follow her throgh the workout, although I already knew it. I do this workout regularly but when I did it with her I came to think of how hard I though this was 1 year ago, and how much I had improved.

Managed to get through this but I suffer from really tight hamstrings 😭 so stretching is really hard for me any advise please would help so much!

I think for newcomers in the zone of workout (like teens) it is important that it be made clear that these are toning exercises and not cardio. You need to start with a stretch session then some cardio ,and then move on to these exercises to gain max results;ending with a full body stretch.
