The pointe shoe inserts (like blue putty) are the best thing ever for every ballerina. They are a must!! People go buy them. They are called Perfect Pointe inserts.

As a girl I dreamt of becoming a ballerina. I wanted to take dance lessons with my whole heart but my family couldn’t afford it. As a result I watched ballet on tv & imitated what I saw. I tried with all my heart to mimic every step. Now to the point, before long I started walking with my feet pointed out, I never broke this habit. Now as an older woman I suffer with hip, back, & knee problems. The moral of the story; if a little girl wants dance, move heaven & earth for her. If you can’t, forbid her to imitate professionally trained ballerinas. Oh yes, & I also have terrific arthritis in some of my toes. 🤷🏼♀️

What about a video with you making your Perfect Fit inserts, and giving your tips and tricks? I guess you've already made a lot of them. I struggle with the amount of putty to use and the actual placement (I don't like it under the toes or I haven't find the correct way to place it there yet)...so I wasted a lot of putty till now! :) Anyway, I love all your videos. You are an amazing dancer AND an amazing person, that's why you are so loved by a lot of people! Besides this,personally,I'm never tired about pointe shoes prep videos/tips and tricks! Your hack with the grater (never seen it before!!) it's genius thing and I stolen it! About walking turned out: yes,its bad for feet,arches,knees,joints in general. I remember I saw a scientific explanation about this here on KZbin but can't remember which channel was. You all can make a search, but if I find it again I'll post the link. I know it comes naturally for a ballet dancer but we should consciously try to avoid it. And please, don't do it only because it's trendy... спасибо большое, And cheers from Italy! Sara

New "Tik Tok Collection" is out sooner than I expected. Wow! Video editing looks more interesting, even great! Great job! But tik tok videos in "endless loop" IMHO is annoing. I think to show them twice is much than enough. Thank U! (after "korporativ" is so great to leaave comments in deep night time, because work starts one hour later). Holiday greetings!

she most certainly knows Sylvie Guillem, but I was surprised when she said that Svetlana Zakharova "invented" the high extensions because, as you know, Sylvie Guillem is famous for her six o'clock, and she came before Svetlana Z.
@xabianioff1991 Жыл бұрын
@@tarantellalarouge7632 I agree with you, but everyone has their own opinion so I think its ok? idk
@tarantellalarouge7632 Жыл бұрын
@@xabianioff1991 I was not talking about my opinion, Sylvie Guillem was born in 1965 and Svetlana in 1979, almost 15 years later. It is logic that Sylvie Guillem had began earlier and did hit the stage and created her things 15 years before. As a child she was trained as a gymnast, that is the reason why she could raise her leg to her ear ..; but she is so much more, a great artist and a great person .... I love Svetlana Zakharova also, but let's repay to Cesar what belongs to Cesar !

Oh, @12:24 is a silicone moulding compound. Artists use it. You can get it in artist stores, in case someone needs that information. :) I am using it to create mould of objects so I can cast clay into it. You can also use it as a mould to create resin sculptures. I knew it had to be that or something similar. Nice videos. Subbed.

I still don’t understand why pro dancers don’t get custom pointe shoes made that fits their feet? Would it be too much hassle? Is it not profitable? Surely it would prevent so many foot injuries and unnecessary pain. I just genuinely don’t get it.
@Therealmotherdragon Жыл бұрын
The amount of ballet dancers in the world, each with unique needs for their feet (no foot is the same even on the same body) coupled with professionals going through dozens to hundreds of shoes per month each does not make it feasible to make custom shoes like that. It is much easier to customize a premade pair on everyone involved, from the shoe companies to the dancers themselves and the companies that buy the shoes for their dancers.

Thank you for dealing with the first video in such a respectfull manner. I feel like male dancers gets enough hate outside of ballet world, they really dont need it inside aswell. Aslong its funny videos its fine, but I also saw some really disresectfull memes scuh saying basicly that males have it more easy as a dancer which I as a former professional can only lough about. Great Vid as always Maria! keep it up

Hi, you are amazing and I love your content. 🥰 You talked about Svetlana, but Sylvie Guillem did come first on this higher extension thing, don't you think? She is wonderful. I think I saw someone talking about how she was a pioneer on this topic. But Svetlana is more popular now when it comes to this subject. I love her by the way. She is a unbelievable 🤩. She and Sylvie are among my favorite ones. Although, Marianela Nunez takes the crown on my list, because I love her artistry, besides her talent and technique. And she always seems to be really enjoying what she is doing. 🥰 I see this features in you too, by the way and that's why I like to follow your social media and content. ❤️

Sorry to contradict you but the ballerina who made the change to super high extensions is not Svetlana Zakharova but Sylvie Guillem, her name is Madame Six O'clock (or miss No also ....), sorry but ballet is not only about Russia, in fact it was born in France .....
