It looks very nice but like you said is better if you go to a tailor to make sure is the right size for you. In my case. I’m 34 but the sleeves need it to be shorter and they fixed it for me at the Balmain store

the balmain buyer at saks told me you're supposed to be able to close the inner button and should be no gaping at the chest.. this jacket gives a good silhouette but its not meant to be too firm fitting.. u wont look fat even if u size up.. anyway enjoy it how u do...

Tee, So glad I've found your channel. Omg, I've been wanting a Balmain blazer for many, many years. They are beautiful and they absolutely will last. If it were me, I'd size up. I don't like anything to look or feel tight and if I got a Balmain blazer, I'd definitely want to be able to wear it both open and buttoned. But, you'll look beautiful in it either way you go. You have a perfect figure for a fitted blazer. Of course you'd look great in anything. What did you decide to do? I'd love to know. Thanks for the great video.xo, SS

As we get older, the "wrapping" should be better quality in order to compensate loss of youth and tolls of gravity. Fine jewelry and bags are still good investments but purchases like the blazer and other classics will last a long time if you take care of them and in turn, they will keep you looking elegant, tailored and fit.

Bigger size and have it tailored in london when you a buy balmain blazer from harrods selfridges they alter it to perfection having the option to wear it open or closed with out it looking tight is key when you spending so much on a blazer

You said you are 5’1 and what’s your weight and size of this jacket? Love it on you!! I wouldn’t size up. It’s perfect. Size up ,Igbo make the shoulders broader looking. How are you still loving this jacket and do you get a lot of use out of it?

Not offended at all. I can barely know how to speak my own language (English is all I know). I'll have to learn how to pronounce French labels eventually
