In this episode of Hillstream aquarium I introduced Bamboo shrimp (Atyopsis moluccensis) to River aquarium. After feeding Bamboo shrimp on the first day with small particles (fry food) I didn't see him for the next 5 days. Usually they can be very shy and skittish when introduced into the new environment. After a week Bamboo shrimp finally felt comfortable to venture into the open and position himself in front of the stream pump. Bamboo shrimps are filter feeder shrimp and they catch tiny particles from the aquarium water with their web like claws or "fans".
