I truly do love the idea of how much reinforcement needed to be done for the Mk-II to even utilize the Beam Magnum. We've seen that monstrous weapon cause malfunctions to the Silver Bullet's arm and the Delta Plus'. Puts in perspective how powerful the tech of the Unicorns is, and even more so, how tough they were made. Although we've seen it many times in the series, you can never understand a suit's performance unless you put its weapons on another machine. And if you put into perspective that the Unicorn can constantly fire the Beam Magnum without the damage all the other machines suffer, it makes you realize just how insane it is.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if Bandai ends up making an RG, MG, and HG of the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II [Banagher Links Custom]; especially if people keep talking about this. I also wouldn't be surprised to see the HG AMX-014 Döven Wolf (and related kits) price go up on after-market sites and those kits getting sold out at retail stores.

Knowing we got a p Bandai gundam mkv which the doven wolf comes from it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say they wouldn't mash up an arm with the mg 2.0 of the mkII

You can get the HGUC Silver Bullet or SB suppressor it will be reprinted in 2022/23. Also if all else fail try 3d printing community, a lot of people just print parts these days.. all you need is the mk2 kit

I never knew Banagher Links pilot that legendary mobile suit from the Titans war. Reminds me of Gundam Age 2 in white colors for a commanding type unit and for a special missions.

What do you think about the Var.Mistle-Pass Armor brief article I posted in discord...? Yes, I know it ain't UC tech, but just imagine how durable that would have to be, and how difficult it would be for someone you're fighting to damage your ship/MS/fortress, etc.!Crazy, right...? Now think: if the Var.Mistle-Pass armor is that complex, then who could possibly be able to deal *ANY* sort of damage towards you and your allies...?

The thing with the mk2 is even though it is not the top tier suit when its first roll out, its more a prototype for full movable frame mobile suit, and its still kicking butt in the anime

@@GundamExplained but why lock them up? I know the federation fears new types but Banager works for Zeon in NT. It’s also a big plot hole in a way that these 3 Gundam a are still around even decades or half century later but not used by anyone. They should have been destroyed in some way.

There have been 2 proposals from official sources. 1. This is a modernized replica of the MK-II akin to how some people use Hi-Zacks to make OYW style Zaku replicas. 2. This is built from salvage after they found it or that it was in the Vist vaults. Depending on the timeline the MK-II or Silver Bullet Surpressor was a stop gap for the other one. Or they are both Stop gaps waiting for Banagher's final ride to be completed.

Tbh Bandai is running out of ideas when they do this.. look at how many units Amuro and Char pilots via retcon. Amuro's Zeta is just ridiculous when he pilots multiple versions of the Dijeh from Zeta era to Moon manga.. when and how did he even get a Zeta? Just another way to milk us for money with wiki/1 panel of manga lol. If they make a Doan's Gelgoog or Anavel Gato's Zaku 2 I buy it lol

Great video, Adam. Very informative. I fell in love with this Mark II Gundam Variant about a year and a half ago when I found it online. The color scheme is also a callback to the RX-78-2 Gundam Roll-Out Color Variant that you should check out if you haven't. This color scheme is in line with the vision of what Tomino had for the original Gundam when he proposed it. All white with red highlights. That's why Zeon had a certain nickname for it. I would write it, but since the bot moderators running KZbin would consider that nickname a racist derogatory (speaking from experience when I used to be on Facebook. Got a ban for a week for referring to the original Gundam in that nickname if you can believe that. Glad I'm off that platform.) Well I got to go. Got a mandatory meeting to attend. The prices shown on that website where taken straight form eBay. Never trust eBay when it comes to pricing because those are asking prices, not official. 50-70$ sounds about right but definitely not 100+ for that kit.
