Derrick. This is a seriously crushable drink. Didn’t have banana puree so upped the banana liquor and added some Demerara sugar. Don’t have Dolin so added lillet. Extremely tasty

I really appreciate your consideration for how much you're asking of the viewers to make the cocktails you show. I watch cocktail youtube for ideas and history. Overly complicated multi-step prep cocktails are things I want ORDER, not what I want to spend hours making and end up with excess of an ingredient I only have one recipe for.

I've been searching for a good banana drink. The ones I have tried only have banana liqueur in them, and the liqueur never really tastes like banana to me. I tried this one last night, and thought it was delicious! It really tasted like banana, and not too sweet!

This is so rich in flavor. I love doing this same technique with different fruits. It's very easy with the Berry family and makes a very fragrant oil with bananas. Great video, good sir.

I have to admit I am a sinner. I make all my own syrups including orgeat but when it comes to banana puree or even liquor and coconut puree I just do banana cream liqueur and coconut liquor. It keeps the bar more simple and shelf stable.

Why do you add soda water before blending as opposed to immediately after?

It’s a traditional technique in some drinker recipes to help lengthen the drink and provide some body/texture without making it an effervescent and bubbly drink.

You don't need the Paranubes. Use anything. But Cocchi is amazing plus I've used it in 1 other cocktail and 1 more to come. It's worth it. The puree is the pain to get.
