I don't think you are far from the truth, when you interpret Akane's enthusiasm as "I get to play drums!" This was their first concert after their newest album, and they had never played No God live before. For Akane, this was like playing with her newest toy.

Regarding the gravitic pull of a pigeon. Racing pigeons are typically 10-12oz, Rock Pigeons (which seems more relevant here) are up to 16oz (450g). So at near Earth surface, the planet exerts a force of up to 4.4 newtons on a large Rock Pigeon. Sagittarius A in the core of the Milky Way (where else would you look?) contains a black hole estimated to be 4.3 million solar masses, and a radius of maybe 30 million kilometers. So, in the vicinity of the event horizon of this black hole, the pigeon and black hole would exert the same force on each other of approximately 6.67e-11 x 0.45 x 4.3e6 x 2e30 divided by (30e6 x 1000) ^ 2. Ummm, let’s call it 0.29 meganewtons. Unfortunately for the pigeon, it would cease to be a pigeon very quickly. Miku is an 810 year old pigeon (that’s another story) and so has significantly more mass, but is unlikely to reach escape velocity to leave Earth’s atmosphere. Fortunately, you’ve seen Miku and her band mates play Black Hole, from the same album without coming to harm. Almost forgot. If the Captain is, say, 75kg and at a distance of 1m, the pigeon and the Captain would exert a force on each other of approximately 2.25 nanonewtons. That is... 2 billion times less than its weight... bugger all. No pigeons were hurt during the calculations for this comment.
@CaptainFaceBeard3 жыл бұрын
That is some SOLID science. Maybe we should also test it over Canada's Hudson Bay, which has a Gravity anomaly. Just to make sure we have all the data.
@PaulEngineer3 жыл бұрын
@@CaptainFaceBeard Variance in pigeon mass probably far more likely to exceed any variance due to gravitational anomalies. Calculation done for fun. The actual answer to your question is 'negligible effect'.

Quite a fitting song considering MISA's birthday is just one day after your upload. :) Honestly, there are some good bass players out there, but until today I haven't come across one that stands out and is as important in almost every song as she is. And that in a band where neither she nor anyone else with a huge ego is at the forefront. Thanks to her, I hear this kind of music completely different today than I did 20 years ago, for example. Everyone praises Kanami's guitar and Misa's bass, but I'd like you to reconfirm Miku's side-vocal and side-guitar skills. Stunning side-vocal pitches and timbres are equivalent to synthesized sound effects. Her side-guitar is tight and even using pitch bend if necessary. Kobato is not just a cute girl. She is a real band-leader with accurate ears. She reached this position from just a maid cafe waitress. She has an amazing talent.

i am with you axe. if i am being honest ; when i started listening to B-M i felt kinda sorry for Miku cuz she was the band's founder and original vocalist and now she was like a 5th wheel surrounded by virtuosos. Now i see her as more the glue that holds everything together in B-M. her rhythm guitar is the anchor that keeps their sound grounded to the melody of the song while the holy trinity does their thing. it isn't easy to hold your own when the other instrumentalists around you are not only so good but also compose such intricate and experimental music

Note the bottle of Scotch on Misa's amp! Very old school Rock. Great song writing. Nonetheless, they're all classically trained. Misa plays bass, piano guitar, trombone, trumpet, and sings. They began studying music when they were 4--5 years old. Even the drummer plays piano and trumpet. She's learning the guitar. Pity our parents are sending the kids to formal classical lessons early.
