Originally from Melbourne, have been living on a small island in Japan for about 10 years now. Can speak Japanese but still don’t understand a lot of Band Maid lyrics. Their songs are fast paced and lyrically dense. Can’t keep up, but as an old metal head there are plenty of English speaking bands that I don’t understand the lyrics of, It doesn’t matter. Have seen Band Maid live many times, both in large concert halls and tiny local venues. They never disappoint 🤘

This song is the end song for the new anime Grendizer U (airing starting in late July in Japan) and is re-telling of an old anime from the 1970's basically a mecha anime war series about two star crossed loves fight to save earth from invading aliens and the lyrics are directly related to the story line. Thanks again for reacting the Band-Maid, it helps to spread the word about this great band.

Ho hum, just another fast-paced, high energy, rattle your brains song by the Maids. LOL!!!!! These Maids rock our world! I understand that the anime remake they were commissioned to write and perform was "Grendizer U", a very popular anime in France and the U.S. in the 70's and 80's. You might think the "Ou lala, Ou lalas" are French. I, on the other hand believe it's Maid-Speak for "We're gonna kick your ass!"

Doing a great job on the solo videos Johnny. It is a very different dynamic flying solo and it is appreciated that you are still making content while Nath is away. I struggle to understand lyrics in lots of songs, so them singing in another language doesn't bother me.. I tend to pick up on the feeling of the lyrics and the way in which they're delivered rather than the content or story telling contained in them.
