guys to make one you need a cube where each piece is 16mm. so if a 3x3 is 48mm across like the QJ it works, if its a 4x4 that is 64mm across then it should work. 5x5 you need it to be 80mm across etc.

I want to make a Bandagable 6 x6 what one do i buy
@VFsBawlS310 жыл бұрын
Use this fact to get an appropriate measurement: Each LEGO brick is exactly 8mm across, so each 2x2 LEGO plate is 16mm*16mm. This is why the QJ mini 3x3 that he used is perfect, since it measures exactly 48mm across (Three 2x2 LEGO plates). For a 6x6 you would need either a 96mm*96mm cube for the 2x2 LEGOs, or try to go with 1x1 single LEGO plates and require a 48mm*48mm 6x6x6 cube. An added note is that sometimes the cubes are measured in cm, which is of course 10x the mm count, so 48mm=4.8cm. I wish you the best in fixing one up!
@ollyshaklez11 жыл бұрын

+James Coyle I suppose so, but I think the added few cents or a dollar or two is not a problem for most people. Also with a DIY, you can lube and tension it to your liking without having to take it apart. Like I said before, you also conserve stickers which you could use later.

Any clues about super-gluing the Lego pieces onto the cube? It seems my gluings pop loose under moderate pressure. How do you secure your pieces so tightly that they can withstand prying the banded pieces off over and over? BTW - that is one glorious Lego cube!!! ~Jon

could i inquire how many of each piece you would recommend getting in order to do most bandages?

Will the standard Rubik's cube work for the 3x3x3 or do you have to use the QJ?

You could use *Smooth Tiles* for a better smoother grip.
