I made 4 of the 3x3x3 lego cubes (all have different color themes), the QJ Mini 3x3 cube is the perfect size. I also made 1 4x4 using a Rubik's brand 4x4, it isn't as smooth as the 3x3's but it works well. I am not sure if there are any legos the proper size to make a 2x2.

guys to make one you need a cube where each piece is 16mm. so if a 3x3 is 48mm across like the QJ it works, if its a 4x4 that is 64mm across then it should work. 5x5 you need it to be 80mm across etc.

I know this video is old. but if you were to sand down the edges of the 2x2 legos on the outer layers, wouldn't it not catch on the actual cube. you could sand them down to fit on the outer layrers, and the pegs for the bandaging legos would still be in te same place.

only stickerless cubes aren't allowed, where the pieces are the actual color of the side. they are illegal because when you turn it you can see the colors of the back face without turning it around so it's considered cheating.
