The weapons are drawn EXTREMELY well in this anime. BTR-82A, T-90MS, Flankers, KUB missiles, AK-74s, TT pistols, Mi-24 with South African Superhind modernization, Super Hornet fighters. Very impressive.

An interesting and seemingly minor detail about the EXOFRAMES is they seemingly do not need fuel, and have powered wheels. The impact of this on energy production would actually be a far, far greater disruptor to the current global order than using them as war machines.
@Jeffrey_zeta Жыл бұрын
They totally would be used for ore than war eve tho thats how it would start but I think they stated they don’t know how that “fuel” source works” other than described as telepathy. Also the Peddlers probably benefit greatly somehow from dumping their probably centuries of gear on us

This is by far my favorite anime to come out in a very long time. The mecha while a scifi tech are made very realistic, someone was definitely looking at modern military machines when they designed these. Also the political commentary well made and nuanced.

The first season some of the battles where kind of off. Especially with the tank in the urban environment had no idea why the tanks did not go with out a infantry support. And the first episode with the M1 Abrams felt like the mg gunners had storm trooper aim syndrome or something. But yea really enjoying this series.
@Mav104 жыл бұрын
@@mrdriver2988 episode 2 was an actual sin. episode 1 however was not.
@Palora013 жыл бұрын
@@mrdriver2988 while episode 2 was rather bad, the tanks in the following episodes going unsupported in the city was rather realistic, especially for the army they supposedly belonged too. See the Syrian conflict for one where that actually happened, platoons of tanks going out unsupported by infantry. I think it was a manpower and morale issue. It was easier to both crew those tanks and convince the tankers to go out and fight than it was to get infantry platoons motivated enough to go out there to be picked off by snipers. Ofc that realism was ruined by the absence of the previously establish recon drones directing artillery.
Motives and intentions can easily be masked behind catchy phrases, "justice" and projecting lies to reinforce the narrative, strengthening the masquerade. Atrocities have been embraced for far less than a sense of "justice" or vengeance, our last 121 years are littered with prime examples. Great series so far! Interesting morality, storyline, artwork, animation and action are awesome.

The attention to detail in this is crazy. The Cerberus units were using modified a M2 HMG. Now they are showing these units carrying modified DShK HMG the Russian alternative.
It is once again time to nerd out at the details of the show; VFA-146 "Blue Diamonds" is a real squadron. However, the 146 flies F/A-18Es, not F/A-18Fs and would be on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, not the USS Nimitz. There's probably an in-universe reasoning for it, but I thought I'd point it out. It's still pretty cool that they have the "F/A-18F" correctly printed at the fuselage with the tailcode and modex accurate irl, but it is curious that they left out "Navy". Still super awesome that they kept all this in, it's really fantastic
As a Kenyan I found this so funny!! Raila and Kibaki were actual politicians who ran against each other in an election that almost culminated in a civil war! The picture at 2:28 is based on a real one except the child in the picture is Kenya’s current President Uhuru Kenyatta holding hands with his dad Jomo, Kenya’s first president! The man right being the kid is in fact Moi, then only a vice president who would become president following Kenyatta’s death in 1978.
