The main singer's is really good, and she has a really good voice. She hits all the notes perfectly. The other guy doing screams is also really good at that, and I'm asking why didn't he make the harsh parts instead of the singer.. Even if they sound good even clean, I think it should have been much more powerful, it's the nature of the song! I liked everything else though, expecially the "forsaken me" part

When I saw the thumbnail being a female vocalist I was really curious about how the vocals would be covered. I actually like how there was a slight variation/adaptation because it fits her voice amazingly. I know some people might say "oh it doesn't sound like the original", yeah well, its still fucking amazing. Give all of them credit! I also agree with others how it sounds like Lacuna Coil! Definitely do LC covers!!

RcesarR I like SoaD bc of the harshness of the vocals too but when it comes to covers, I try not to listen to them with too much bias to the original. Not all covers are trying to copy the original- some are renditions where they make the song the way they want

It's unfortunate that this song is being compared to the original. Because when it comes down to it, almost no cover can be as great as the original. Especially with a band as difficult to cover as SOAD. Nicely done, basically the only cover I can truely find no major fault in.

Damn, thats one serious cover! I love your drum and bass play, the instrumentalisation is just...on point :) I kinda felt like the vocalist didnt have the right feelings when performing this song. Dont get me wrong, her voice is so beautiful and clean, but she kinda worked it down instead of diving into it...There are so many shifts between aggression and depression involved, a blast of anergy in constant interplay with a wave of exhaustion, however Serj is a godlike singer, hard to catch up :D However, in the last minute she kinda woke up and gave some great intensity, clearly showing her potencial!

what does writing music have to do with singing it? were saying this girl just doesnt sound natural on this song. usually songs are either written by the band or for the band, meant to sound good for that person. thats why female vocalists sound good they sing things meant to sound good on their voice, thats why choruses seperate people based on voice some parts are better for some people than others and this song just inst for that girl. im not saying she shouldnt do it if she wants to she can, im just saying im not gonna listen to it more than i have too because i just dont like how she sings it. do my opinions offend you because their not the same as yours?
