Simple No Bake Delicious Kunafa

Here is what you'll need!
Ingredients:
Lachcha
1 pack lachcha semai
1 tbsp ghee
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup powdered milk
Milk Base
2 cups whole milk
1 cup powdered milk
½ cup condensed milk
3 tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup cream
Instructions:
1. Stir lachcha semai with ghee in a pan
2. Add sugar and continue to stir then set aside
3. Add whole milk in a pot along with powdered milk, condensed milk and cornstarch and stir until it thickens
4. Add cream and stir then remove from heat
5. Place half of the lachcha on a baking glassware and pour the milk base
6. Put the remaining lachcha on top of the base, press down a little
7. Garnish with nuts and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving
8. Ready to Enjoy!

I made it for Eid 2024 and THIS IS THE BEST! I used ½ cup of powdered milk to lessen the sugar a little.I also made the filling a little more thick. 2nd time made on 21 April!

I'm a big fan of this channel BR and have tried dozens of their recipes. And I love kunafa. This recipe however simple and delicious it looks isn't a kunafa. I'd definitely try this for Eid insha Allah but not serve it as kunafa rather a richer version of semai 😉
