In NJ it is getting colder especially at night so the crappies are really starting to feed. Love Panfishing

Yeah I miss fall fishing in New Jersey. The crappie and perch were always hungry.

the sunfish look different than the sunfish in the northeast

These are the coppernose subspecies. You have the northern subspecies in the northeast.

Those bluegill are unique to FL with those colors; we call them coppernose
