I totally agree about the top water frog bite, it's the best. Sometimes they do flat out miss it, when I can clearly see a miss, I try to control my reaction, and not move the frog, and on occasion they will hit it again.

8:56 when a fish strikes and miss a frog , especially if they miss 3-4 times , is it because the fish is too small or are they just swiping at it , trying to stun it or chase it away .. I once had a fish “attack” my spook 7 times almost all the way to the bank/ shore and it finally swim away .. but wasn’t able to get a hook up

Nailed a couple solid two pounders on Friday morning, both on a bluegill pattern swim jig and green pumpkin Rage Swimmer. Tried a frog after the bite died off and caught another bullfrog. Seriously, I keep catching frogs on my frogs, but not fish. 🤦‍♂️😂

Debo!! Nice job out there!! Can you do a retrieval video? Different styles, raising and dropping, how fast, how slow, and jerking/cranking. Different lures require different action. I'm kinda in a slump right now and I think its my retrieval!! I need to really get some direction on what I should and shouldn't be doing. Im sure that we all could use some retrieval pointers.
