You can see how genuinely moved Spanian is when Russel talks about his low points or some of the horrible things that happened to him. Unbelievable that someone can go through all this and still come out on the other side - not just normal, but as a success - he must be an incredibly strong-minded human. Mind blowing.

Well spoken and articulated, you can see the old bloke still has his pride & his stories, but isn't afraid to share his vulnerable moments, fears and trauma. It's clear he wants to help others so they can have a better run of things than him. Thank you for sharing Russell and another great segment Spanian. Cheers.

Understanding the power of vulnerability is a major theme of this series and what makes it palpable is that its not presented in the way that dodgy new age self-help grifters do by scamming people out of money with some scheme, workshop or 10 part course. Its truly genuine.

Go out there and keep changing the world on fuck up at a time.... You boys will change so many people's lives and neither of you know how bloody special you are!!! Awesome interview, keep speaking your truths to the world... I can't wait to hear and see where you both go from here... You two working together to walk in the front doors of those hell holes and bring hope to people again honestly brings tears to my eyes... My friends and loved ones couldn't be saved but maybe just maybe with you guys standing up and turning your pain and fuck ups into power so many other people's loved ones can!!!

It’s been happening for years belle since the stolen generations ( aboriginals) the government have been part and still part of the child sex ring before Australia was even made. Why it’s not big news it’s the norm for the elites. That’s why spanian is the man and will never be allowed on mainstream tv for his shows because it’s controlled by our government. These are stories Australia need to hear to save our youth.

Great content ! Just started tracking with you. There aren't any coincidences in life. Both of your stories are incredibly inspirational. What I have gleaned from both of your stories is that universal appeal of the indomitable human spirit , ( for better or worse) the power of transformation and the desire to inspire others with Hope . Your courage to share your true experiences with honesty the difficult gut Wrenching failures. The challenge is to accept with humility ,accomplishment and to trust that we re deserving and to not self sabotage . Honesty , open-mindedness and to be willing to help others without judgment. I m a 62 year old slowly recovering vet from America and I ve just binge watched quite a few off your vids and this one blew me away. Thanks so much brothers . God bless and congratulations on your success. Prayers for you both on continuing your trajectory. I m ordering your books for sure. More will be revealed .

Great interview . I actually worked in a bank close to the one he robbed in George street Sydney . Remember being on high alert in the coming days . Crazy how you think it’s this animal but it’s a guy you love to have a beer with. Spaniard does a great job here just listening . Lot of hosts crap on about themselves . Great stories just need a mic and let them go . Great job 👏

I spent a weekend at Cobham. Late night arrival on Friday night. The paddy wagon had to wait for the staff to open the gate. During the wait, the pigs smashed my face into the side of the wagon, then one of the heroes pulled out his gun, pointed it at my face, and told me to make a run for it.

You were a product of the system Russell. Once you've been hell, there wasn't much left for you to fear. So you were free to keep doing whatever crimes you want. No punishment was going to be worse than what you'd already been though. Glad to see you make it out the other side man. 👍

Haha hearing him talk about the older fullahs reminiscing about remissions reminded me about talking with old Billy Sutton at Bathurst/wello he would say the same thing when we'd be locked in for days an days with the strikes

Broadway grace bros! My dad used to take us in there with old shoes on, change us into new ones, leave the old shoes in the boxes and bounce. We didn’t know wtf was going on, we just knew we had new shoes! 😅

I grew up a km away from Minda in the 60 & 70’s. How anyone stayed sane next to a cemetery and the fkn dog’s from the RSPCA barking 24/7…is beyond my comprehension !!! Even as a kid I knew something was very wrong in that place . If anyone escaped they’d bash us on their way to the train station..
