Niacin and thiamin I think might be vitamins, and I suppose palm oil contains vitamins(?), but don't forget all the sugar, cream and butter that goes into the rest of the dessert! As I said, such a gorgeous dessert is going to give lots of pleasure, make you feel good, and boost your mental wellbeing - "a little of what you fancy does you good", and I can't wait to try it myself! - but I'm not convinced it could be described as healthy to the body.

Digestive biscuits are available in the US but you might have to do some searching. You could probably freeze the base before pouring the filling, I imagine it would aid in preventing it melting, as well as helping set the caramel. @PandemoniumMeltDown3 жыл бұрын
Finally, I now know I'm not the only person in the world who thinks the cold treatment of bananas makes insane fruits. Let me tell you something, I had bananas I was just not going to eat in time, I know right: heresy! Still, I just ditched them in the fridge, getting nice and yellow before their trip to Alascold, not spotty or anything. There, they aged for 3 weeks then I thought... oh well, I'd have a use for youz three but I have a bad feeling about y'all. Yet, I just couldn't help taking a thinny peek-a-boo, nothing fancy, just open one monkey style and... ! By Saint-Gorilla glue in in some YT girl hair this looks mighty nice and not bad at all... I then proceeded to investigate them all, displaying them in a plate for my eyes to wonder upon them in wonder: they were deep yelllow and their scent was too good and developped to be real. How can little turds hide such lovely jewels... So, I irreverently turned them jems into mush and used them as cookie-pancake liquid, like a banana bread but more like a pancake recipe, thick and nutty with raisins, and baked in the oven. O.O Cold treatment... it works!

At 2:10 Just from personal experience, I'd like to suggest anyone trying this recipe, to use a plastic bowl instead of glass.

This comment is about bananas, specifically about (8:50 - 9:30) So as mentioned people's banana ripeness meter does vary. I prefer my bananas more on the under-ripe side. They will have a smooth yellow colour all the way until the stem where there will still be a little bit of pale green. If the banana has a subtle crunch to them when you eat it that's good, for me. I know this level of detail as I ate a banana only a few minutes ago as I write this comment. I enjoyed the banana thoroughly. I also know I like mine under ripe because they have some resistance to being peeled.

This looks so delicious! I think I’m going to try this, a nice change up from regular banoffee. I’ve really enjoyed the cooking/baking recipes lately. I made the super simple swirly spicy sharey bread it was was fantastic - that is really worth a try. Loving all the extra uploads Mr Mike. Thank you! :)

Bananas are a lot easier to peel from the bottom! Not that you look like you're struggling, nor to tell you what to do- that's just one of my favorite little tidbits of info that I enjoy sharing at any opportunity. Probably because nobody ever seems to believe it

This is so rich I don't need to make it! it was wonderful to watch the process though. It's the kind of thing you could make to give as a present, birthday, etc.
