Same here. I’ve worked as Prep Cook/Kitchen Helper and Cleaning Captain at Taco Bell for the past 13 years (2004-17). I’ve always made sure everything was clean and sanitized: pots, pans, utensils, trays, etc. And whenever necessary, I sometimes mop the floors and made sure the grease traps were scrubbed down. I’ve done all these things to ensure that the two stores I worked at (Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, NJ and on JFK Blvd in Union City, NJ) do not get a failing grade.

Watching Bar Rescue is not only entertainment, but also education for me. Make sure your personal development includes digging down deep and finding the root cause of a maladjusted attitude. Especially if you're an adult. Arrested development, childhood trauma, being undiagnosed or misdiagnosed with something, can all be contributing factors to emotional dysregulation.

In defense of that one girl from hideaway, mind you I havnt seen this episode yet, but the customers were kind of stand offish and rude. Being a lone bartender in a place where owners don’t care. Is hard. The bartender and restaurant industry is not an easy place to work in.
@ish1014
@ish1014 Жыл бұрын
I can get why the customers would act stand offish and being a bit rude but cmon man. the black floaty thing could be a tiny bug or black mold. Bartenders suppose to clean their station, ice bin, and everything else. you also have to check the bottle if there can be potential bugs in them. The bartender could of gotten away with serving drinks that could be similar to that drink. also the bartender was caught stealing so what's the point of making the points you made. But i do find it weird on why the owners let the bartender keep working despite they caught her drinking during shift and her stealing. they tell her this before during the show despite they know this before the episode was aired.

How much you wanna bet these people who freaked out and quit or were fired will go to some journalist later and say "Oh the whole show is fake, it's all BS, Jon is full of it, the show made us look worse than we are"? Well of COURSE they would say that, because they got exposed. Amazing that one chef had a childish tantrum all because J pointed out all the mistakes he made with a filthy, disgusting kitchen. A guy like that doesn't deserve respect... respect is earned, and that kitchen wasn't worth respecting already.
