One thing I like about Jon is his control over his anger, I’ve been watching Bar Rescue for almost a month now and I realize that majority of the time, when he’s turning his attention to the person not guilty, he softens his tone, then goes mad apeshit again when he’s back to talking to the Guilty employee/employer.

@@pgnandt I think it's like with Ramsay, but more brutal/slightly honest about things? Taffer seems to approach things on the show with a very blunt "This is where you're fucking up" attitude when it comes to the guilty party, like shoving their face into the food or drinks and all. A lot of the times it works and will help get the other person riled up and show their passion, if they have any. I'm not a fan of yelling but it works in some cases.

Cody's dad definitely comes across as a total prick. It's never acceptable to put hands on your wife, no matter how heated you are. I certainly applaud Jon and his friend for pointing out "He just pushed his wife" in the car and found that highly unacceptable. What that leads me to ask is why nobody points out: "She just pushed him." when she shoves him first and he tells her: "Don't push me." The camera shows them react to it, absolutely, but nobody says a thing. Interesting.

She still was agressive which was really bad and I'm somewhat annoyed that they didn;t hold her to the same standards. I feel like the only difference between them was the reason for being agressive, she did start things but it still could be considered self defence he didn't start things but it still could be considered self defence too. Only thing is he was drunk and causing a major scene. I dont think it's right for her to push him but I also dont really think it was all that wrong either. It's just one of those muddy situations where they're both hurting eachother, it just doesn't help his case that he's a drunk asshole insulting his child and leaving him with mountains of debt without bothering to help. :/

I felt horrible for Cody. The fact that his parents would put THEIR debt on their own son when he’s got a kid in 6 weeks, is absolutely appalling! I respect the mother for trying to help dig him out for putting him there in the first place, but the father I would’ve cut out of my life! Cody has a valid point; “I have to do what’s best for me & my child”. If that means cutting dad out of his life, so be it

bruh you can hear Taffer's voice cracking when he has to face something so heartbreaking . I mean a father ruining his wife/son life , putting them to the rope without a care. I'd have let him root in the streets years, if you don't even take in consideration the feelings and hardships of someone so close to you as YOUR DAMN SON

They knew. They knew what the problem was but the owner didn't want to clean it and the manager wouldn't clean it. Nobody wanted to clean it. So they just ignored the problem. Now that everyone knows exactly what the problem is someone is going to have to clean it. Wont be the manager. She is crying in the back. Wont be the owner, she wont touch it. She already told Jon she checked out. The owner can order the manager to clean it but she'll just cry and quit before she touches that ice machine. So they are going to have to spend more money to get a man and cleaning crew in to clean it because the girls are not going to touch it.

For anyone who’s parents have never had a full out yelling fight, it’s a scary thing and you may think it might just blow over but it can last a few days and I have wanted to cry cause of it. Family businesses cause a lot of stress even when it’s failing or going well. There’s always gonna be some kinda problem, small or large. Atleast for my family

See my dad was a crack head, I was still living with them when I was 18. When my dad would wake up from a binge he would talk to all of us like this. I weighed 130 then as I still do. He would tell me the same thing when I'd stand up and tell him to leave my mom alone. He was every bit of 225 and he'd tell me " you better get back to your room little boy"... I beat his ass three days in a row, the third time I didn't stop after he hit the ground. I shattered his nose and he had to go to the hospital for that and 16 stitches on his eye brow / eye lid. After that day he never touched my mom while I was there and he never called me a boy again. I think it's common for sons to be afraid of their father and for the father to always see his son as a child. Sometimes you just have to stand up for what you think is right no matter the consequences. And before you guys think I was beating up an elderly man, he was 19 when I was born. I was 18 he was 37.

New manager took a look at our ice machine and it looked about the same as in that clip, but with more caked on crap in some areas. I was tasked with cleaning it and it took about 30 minutes...no wonder why the previous manager got axed.
