A quick message to the fans: We appreciate this community for sticking with us as we move forward without JJ. There was no way we were going to be able to straight up replace him. We want to continue to be a leading voice in this space so this felt like a cool path forward that allows players to dip their toes in media and create content in unique ways. We're hoping to turn this into a pure hoops channel. Play breakdowns, cool interviews, behind-the-scenes stuff. It should be fun. So thanks again for watching and subscribing. The full episode for this drops tomorrow. See you then!

@@jschang29 right lol than I checked Tyerese’s age and he was born in 2000. That makes sense because he was 7 when Durant got drafted and at that age you definitely wouldn’t process the hype of KD. Although at the time the hype was more Greg Oden, my boy kept on getting hurt.

@Dynomite611Ай бұрын
@@John-ct9zs right but I didn’t expect him to mention Durant 😂. Cause Obama is born in 1961 so I thought he would say somebody like the Grant Hill hype. I remember the LeBron hype, I was like in 5th grade. To your point, 6-8 year old wouldn’t really know about the hype or understand it.

Along with Wemby, I would say that a lot of what President Obama says would also apply to Chet Holmgren. That guy is a sight to behold as well, and was the difference between an OKC team that juast made the Play-In Tournament the season before and an OKC team that was the #1 seed in the Western Conferecne last season. Don't think it would have been unreasonable if Holmgren had been Co-Rookie of the Year with Wemby last season for that reason.
