Best series of the entire show. This guy is amazing and I think we all benefited from listening to you guys interview Julian! Hopefully anybody in any training program crossfit, power lifting , oly lifting, strongman..etc can check the egos at the door, take a step back and find the gaps in their training and fix them! Amazing podcast you guys are the best!

Finally an expert saying it how it is !Instead from a person who took a one weekend course. For other expert opinion refer back to episode 114 from a real coach.

I actually found these two episodes frustrating as it sounds like there's some great ideas at play here but I think without seeing a live example of this it's very hard to put it into practise. You guys should release the whole footage of your session with Julien or that could be a future episode where Julien addresses some common movement faults with Crossfitters/athletes.

+Andrew Matlock completely agreed, I would love to be able to put some of these ideas to use.

Great job guys, thank you again. I've seen and heard the last two episodes multiple times now and was wondering how best to get started trying to address my deficiencies. Is there a baseline set of lifts/exercises you can attempt or incorporate to properly address unsafe areas? Bottom line, what basic things should I be able to do and how should they look if I doing these things properly?

Strongfit I have had extreme DOMS from butterfly pull-ups (more so chest-to-bar) so the lats do get a ton of stimulus. Although I wouldn't say they're an ideal movement specifically for building lats.
@kylemcd70229 жыл бұрын
Yoko Lujan SDHP: Putting some type of bucket, basket or a crate onto a ledge. Hay bails from the ground onto a stack. You'll reach down and you'll widen your stance for support. Kipping pull-up: Watch gymnasts.

I really really really wish the power lifting dude would just reduce the volume of cussing. Jesus man you can get your point across without saying fuck every single sentence. I cuss but in these professional interviews, especially here with the eloquence of Julien's verbiage, it just sounds trashy and off putting. Great episode too. Doug always comes hard with well developed questions and moves the interview along nicely. Keep up the good work guys.
