What a great episode. Watched it twice back to back. Very enlightening in regards to the movements biased by cross fit. Viewers comment if you agree or disagree but the whole point of these episodes are obviously to extract information from the guest speaker, I feel Chris Moore only inhibits this making lightly comical statements that de-rail the topic. He never asks questions only reiterates in statements what has just been explained. Hope Chris takes this as constructive criticism, but since I took notice of the fact he only makes statements its starting to frustrate me. Doug is a master at extracting specific knowledge from the guest with excellent questions..

submergedpsychos Chris helps make the program more entertaining but I think he offers a lot of philosopical points and knowledge as well. He is also comic relief and he is equally as valuable in the success of the podcast. I disagree with you too about the point of the episode is to only extract information... It's about everyone involved and hanging out and shooting the shit while educating and entertaining.

submergedpsychos I have been listening/watching barbell shrugged from the beginning and each one (Doug, Mike, Chris and CTP) are individuals, without their personalities, the show would not be as entertaining. If all were asking the same questions it would be boring. Chris is goofy most of the time, but I love it. He is a highly intelligent person IMO. It's cool you offered the criticism. These guys know what they are doing and what they are talking about.

+Strongfit Have alternatives to the prowler for anaerobic threshold training? Maybe putting a heavy pack on and walking up the 13th floors of my building? So fully concentric. Only fancy "studio" gyms here, so no prowler. And I'm often on the road so getting creative.

Julian said that you should train the anaerobic system once a week, would the same hold true for someone who is doing a regular class of Crossfit, should they be hitting that energy system once a week, once every 2 weeks, or once a month? I'd like for him to elaborate on his thoughts about carrys, holds, sleds, & energy systems for the gerneal population
