Excellent. Lack of cleanliness (as well as lack of basic levels of professionalism) was why I stopped going to barbers and started cutting my own hair.
@brandonbullock53296 жыл бұрын
Man this motivated me to stay as clean as possible like we learned in barber school. I kind of got away from it cause sometime I don’t gave time in between clients or I just get lazy at times. Preciate the wake up call bro frfr

Swear on life I just had a conversation with someone and I was saying how I always sanitize my clippers in front of the customer and I always make sure that I wash my hands and that they are smelling clean because again like you said you have your hand all in their face I cannot believe that you made a video on what I was just talkin about last week you are so right about everything wonderful video Thomas! I think that this video was very well needed for a lot of the new Barbers I am a new female Barber myself and I love the tips that you gave on the barbercide.... Or however you spell it I am going to purchase some next week for my Combs....

You may have to make a few more passes with the clipper, but yea the ceramic blade will still cut it. and yea if you get 20 likes I'll do a video on that

I just wanted to say your videos help me so much. I cut my brother's and husband's hair. My brother has never gotten a professional cut only a buzz, and my husband and I can't really afford to get him to a barber. I honestly didn't even realize why my fades never fully blended until watching your videos and seeing I need a half guard. (Just an example of how helpful your videos have been for me). Your tutorials are great, and after getting a half guard (1 1/2 coming tomorrow) I have given my husband the best fade I've done yet. I'm so excited.

Well done, dude. You laid this out in a way that it's fully informative with demonstrations, reasons, & examples so no-1 can logically argue with ya. Alot of this is key things to look for with a tattoo artist as well. And on the hands smelling- that can come from several sources: 1. natural or applied oils in the hair/scalp of each person that develops it's own scent due to everyone's body chemistry being different 2. from an accumulation of all the things the barber touches during the day (food, clients, phones, shaking client hands, etc) 3. potential fungal issues from what naturally accumulates in some people's hair & on our skin 4. if the barber has nails- YES scents can accumulate under nails. I'm speaking on this all as a female in the medical field as well as a wearer of fake nails.

I'm getting into barbering ad a cosmetologist. Though my license expired when I was in the Navy. I trained as a Corpsman and worked in health care. I'm all about sanitation. Hospital level sanitation. You can prevent people from being sick. Cosmetologists use brushes everyday on most women's hair styles. I can't imagine not cleaning them. I'm about to apply for barber school since I'm starting over. I can still take the cosmetology exam anytime I want my license reinstated. I want to learn how to do mens hair and beards. I don't know much about clippers, and I'm ready and willing to learn. I'm 53 and still learning. Learning is a life long process and you're never too old. Just as older people try to pass life lessons to the young z the young teach the old to love life and remind them to continue learning.

I have to say 90% of the barbers don't take sanitation serious. That could be the reason why so many of our people are losing hair. When you sit in a barber's chair YOU HAVE NO IDEA who has been in that chair before you!
