How often should you change the barbicide solution if you're cleaning your own personal Combs that only you are using? Could you leave the combs in the barbicide until you get ready to use them or should you take them out after a certain time? Is it safe to use a stronger concentration of barbicide to water ratio?
@ChretienGerada2 жыл бұрын
I would still change it out daily. The power of the concentration only last so long.
@honestreview169 Жыл бұрын
Once it gets cloudy or foamy then change it. I feel like changing it daily is a scheme of Barbacide company to have the buyer run out quicker so you can buy another one. And they make more money that way.
@ChretienGerada23 күн бұрын
I would always use the recommended ratio on the barbicide bottle which is 2 oz (1/4 cup) barbicide to 32 oz (4 cups) water

I don't see barbers doing this after every haircut and I've been to many barbershops. After a client, they use the same guards and combs/brushes, no cleaning. The most I've seen is a spray of the Cool Care, and that's only on the clippers. I've noticed the cleaning you described being accomplished either closed hours or before they open.

So you’re telling me if you have 8 clients back to back in a day you would have 8 pairs of the half and one guard? Usually barbers don’t have the time to disinfect between cuts and I’ve never heard of them having multiple guards usually they have about 2-3 of each and spray with cool care to disinfect in between haircuts and use barbicide at the end of the day to disinfect everything completely

Because that is only cleaning your tools. They need to be disinfected after cleaning. Disinfecting is the killing of most microbial life that can lead to infection in humans-such as Influenza, Staphylococcus, HIV/AIDS, Herpes, Salmonella and Hepatitis. Cleaning your tools won’t disinfect them. Hope this helps

There is no such thing as wasting water. When you run water in a sink or flush a toilet, it does not go to the moon or another planet. It goes into the ground and is filtered by the ground which is many layers of dirt, rock and sand; then back into the aquifer where you got from in the fist place.
