Xavi going to coach mancity right now would be risky. He needs to get he’s tactics right. I’d say it’s better he coaches other teams and avoid the big ones at the moment while gaining more experience

As much as I love Xavi, I totally agree with you... Coaching a team like Man City is indeed risky. I think he should test out his tactics and ability as a coach with a smaller team before gunning for a big team again. Personally, I don't think he did bad with Barcelona. You will definitely expect this outcome from a coach with no European experience.

If he can get impressive results at Barca with limited budget then it wouldn’t be far fetched to say that he wouldn’t do well with a smaller club. The type of teams that I can see him coaching are mid-table teams in the serie a or bundesliga and be able to get them a European place after a couple years of coaching them.

As a Mexican Barcelona fan from Chicago, I would have loved to have an equally passionate friend group to discuss football with. I have friends that I discuss NBA and NFL with. But not any football. My brother and I play fifa and have a pro clubs team. But we hardly ever discuss football games themselves because he only likes fifa and thats it. I envy europe for that. Football culture is ingrained over there.

Xavi is not a bad coach the problem was inexperienced and sometimes attitude towards match officials wasn't good at all and where and when to speak somethings at times was an issue for him which he needs to learn if not he'll be sacked even if he coach financial stable teams. Because some teams are horrible than Barca but yet their coaches don't speak outside imagine klopp resigning from liverpool that means there was issues be klopp never said anything outside

It's funny that everyone thinks that it's a joke that man city will go for xavi if pep leaves because of the performance he had last season. Everyone is laughing at this but no one even thinks about man city playing philosophy which both pep and xavi have the same. No one was laughing this hard when kompany got bayern Munich job who just promoted a team to epl but never appreciates what xavi did with barca in a very difficult time and won a la liga. Ik he is still a new manager but just remember that xavi is right now at home and will probably be preparing and introspecting what he did wrong in past and improving them just like how hansi did after his bad season with german NT. It's a pity that everyone laughs at this idea but it's okay no one thinks about club philosophy and which manager will bring easiest transition, these fans uses the word "tactics" But never really understands them, they don't understand ow hard it is to replace a legendary cdm because of whom rodri had to play cb as he is there. Your idea of Xavi Coaching Man City doesn't make any sense at all!!! He hasn't proved himself even close to that level, he won la Liga yes but his performances weren't that encouraging we dragged on till the end, unlike Flick for example you can see improvement in games and we now enjoy our games. It's impossible for Xavi to Coach City for now he needs to do better, he's still inexperienced

Xavi apart from the draw against Rayo started good too just like Hansi Flick by winning games back to back with 4 goals until we met Bayern and injuries set in to destroy everything he was building then we went downhill from there so I blame his inexperience. Hansi Flick just got here and started building something good so why don’t we give him time to see how consistent he is before we start judging, any manager that moves to a new club gets good starts but their consistency and how they solve unexpected problems shows their success. That Messi situation wasn't right because laporta deceived everyone. If he had come out after his elections after seeing the financial situation first hand and said "oh culers, I don't think this operation would be possible. " We would have understood the decision better. But even Messi didn't know he wasn't going to renew. That's my problem with it. Laporta deceived everyone. The decision would have been less painful if laporta was honest from the get-go. That's the same thing he did this summer "we can sign nico this summer" when we couldn't even register olmo until two games into the season. Once again, it's the deceit and false hope that hurts. Everyone is fully aware of our financial situation. Don't go about being loud and giving false hopes. It only makes it worse. Do what you need to do to keep the club running but never deceive us! To compare Xavi to Flick indicates a serious misunderstanding. Xavi did his best with his limited experience from Alsaad. He did well. Laporta brought him in only because he couldn't get Flick at the time. Flick has tremendous experience and can only do better- just compare the CVs of the 2 men . It's early days let's keep calm and not get ahead of ourselves and hope for the best we have a long season ahead of us .
