Everything you say sounds great, but there's a problem. Even if we're in the 1:1 rule next season, we need to offload players and clear some space in the wage bill to register 2-3 new players and current ones with new contracts, and it'd be very beneficial to offload part of Roque's salary, which isn't small. Roque could play LW if we play more directl football, but Xavi seemingly wants Leão, Nico Williams, maybe Leroy Sane...players that can dribble or combine with quick short passes, rather than making runs for long ones. I don't particularly like that but if that's what Xav wants, he needs the right players. Vitor is better as a striker and he needs playtime but Lewandowski is untouchable and Guiu is above Roque in Xavi's pecking order. One year in Betis or Girona could be great for him.

Neymar - who is probably the biggest talent that has come out of brazil in the past 20 years took more than a year before he became a starter at barca over the likes of pedro and alexis sanchez. Felix came in coz of laporta. Whereas xavi specifically requested for a striker to replace lewa by the end of this season coz lewa was already out and bad since after 2022 wc. He never really regained his form until late this season. Roque is a great talent. Nobody denies it. But there's still a lot he has to learn. It's just the same as vini and rodrygo when they arrived. Club buys random players without thinking and then the coach tries to fit them, it doesn't work, player loses confidence, club loses money, coach is sacked. It's the same movie that we have seen before. The icing on the cake would be to see if they buy the 2 Joaos. Not bad players but enough evidence to suggest that we should pass.

Kevin, let’s not even talk about Vinicius and Rodrygo, let’s just look at Camavinga now he’s not even an undisputed starter but we never heard of anything like this. If Barca really listen to the media and loan him out then that only proves how unserious this club is. In the last couple of weeks, the Spanish Government has intervened in matters at the Spanish Football Federation. A massive mess is ongoing, largely due to the ongoing corruption allegations levelled at the Federation and some of its current and former members. As per Marca, it was announced on Tuesday that the Government has started a Supervision, Standardisation and Representation Commission, which will oversee the Federation. Spanish football icon Vicente del Bosque has been tasked with chairing this, after receiving approval from president Pedro Rocha. However, this news has not gone down well at UEFA and FIFA, who are demanding an explanation for the Government’s involvement in the Federation, as per Diario AS. A response must be issued by Friday, and if it is unsatisfactory, an immediate ban from European and global competitions could follow for La Liga clubs, and the Spanish national teams. As things stand, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Girona and Athletic Club are projected to be in Europe for next season, but if UEFA and FIFA bring sanctions to the Federation, they may not be able to take their respective places.
