Great 2nd option if Haaland doesn’t come. Here’s everything thing Haaland has over him: He’s 3 years younger Faster, has more stamina and can press better Knows the German style from his days at Dortmund Can speak German and talk to Hansi Hansi knows him, analyzed him as a Lewa replacement at Bayern (if you remember he wanted a new striker in 2021 and a new 10 in 2020, either Werner or Haaland for the striker and either Olmo or Havertz but the board didn’t listen and he left. It would make sense if he finally got Olmo and Haaland at Barca) He would sell more shirts and massively help the club’s financial situation (granted he would earn more than Gyokeres but still the good would outweigh the bad) And finally he would be better for the club image, Gyokeres might be a better player who knows since we haven’t seen them play in a equal league for a equal team but knowing Haaland almost won a Ballon D’or in 2023 already has a UCL and played under the likes of Pep with the likes of De Bruyne he can be called the more “safe” and “world known” option and people can finally take us seriously again, plus every player in the team from Pedri to Casado to Lamine has said Erling is their dream signing and bringing in a player like him wouldn’t only mean the team would be more happy but the little kids watching football would like and dream to play for Barca, after all we might not have Lamine playing here if it wasn’t for Messi and Neymar being here, we might not see Pedri at Barca if it wasn’t for Xavi and Iniesta and the list goes on. A kid might turn on the tv (or their smart phones nowadays) see the best and most popular striker itw play here and say: i wanna be like him and play for that club one day!
