Put simply, two guys were committed to the same spot on the track. Jett was racing his brother and went to the inside, Barcia was "racing" (trying not to get killed by) Friese, and guarded the inside. Yes it looked bad, not it wasn't intentional. It was a bit like the Ferrandis/Craig crash a few years ago, the only difference was those 2 were racing each other, here, Jett and Barcia weren't racing each other directly, they simply came together. If that was a “racing incident” it would happen more. That was 100% on him, he is responsible for his riding and actions. I’ll bet Lars thinks totally different.

Look at the video.. Barcia was on the binders so aggressively he was doing a nose wheelie well before the hit. 😮

Intentional, probably not. Careless, yes! Kind of a rookie type maneuver even though Barcia is all but a rookie. Barcia cut so hard into the corner, someone was going to collide with him. I get the whole excited and racing super hard in opening laps, but come on. On the flip side we all remember when Jett took out Forkner right? As a result Forkner broke collarbone and was out for a while. So Jett ought to feel pretty lucky he isn't out for a while as a result of, " racing incident" Just sayin' And Barcia, You sure have tangled a lot over the years. Can't imagine you have many friends left at the gates.

That's not really Barcia's style, he usually does way more damage to his opponents when he's taking his typical goon riding season ending lines.

Tomac didn't sweep 💩 he was gifted the 2nd race because of piss poor flagging the cost several riders. Then he had help in round 3 with Jett being taken out with that BS line and speed Barcia took.

True, and I agree that the flagging was BS, but the rules are the rules, and Jett broke them, Eli was one of the only of the top tier guys who ACTUALLY ROLLED it, he didn't get penalized at all, basically the rest of the top 10 did.

@djjazzyjeff1232 that's because he saw it come out the previous lap. The flag came out after Lawrence took the white flag before toenail came through

Racing incidents that keep repeating the way Barcia does it aren't racing incidents, theyre stupidity incidents, and should be penalized to deter the behavior in future!

Those saying it was a typical Barcia move need to open their eyes. Sitting on the old Bam Bam stories is just as distasteful as his riding was back then. He's not only matured in recent years, but his peers have started to respect him more. As for the incident, he is literally riding the front wheel trying to stop. Literally nothing that could be done when Jett decided to come down. Pretty easy to see 🤷‍♂️

100%, clearly these guys have never actually raced moto (or anything) ever before. There are only so many lines and when you're in traffic sometimes people bang into each other fighting over limited real estate. That's all that happened. Barcia racing Friese protecting the inside, Jett racing Hunter USING the inside, doesn't take a genius to connect the dots there lol.
