I’m so sorry you lost your mum at such an early age. I can’t imagine. I grew up in a broken home and the older I get the more I realise idc what gender parents are as long as the child is receiving love, care & support. That’s the building blocks for a well balanced emotionally healthy young adult. I wish you all the best. Love is blind. Love is love and as long as a children has love that’s all that matters.

I don’t want to make assumptions but I think this whole parenting thing has something to do with the death of his mom. He’s not her dad unless he went to court and adopted her. He was a kid choosing to raise a kid. You don’t have yourself together yet. I hope they considered the affects of the relationship on the toddler because if they break up, the child is going to be hurt.

@@abcxyz2927 That's not my point, we're not talking about legalities here, we are talking about someone's emotions. At least I'm not. At the end of the day, if they do break up, she'll still have her bio mom and whom ever her mother decides to date and bring into her baby's life, and the child will have to live with that fact. The stepmom (I mean father), he'll have to deal with the break up in a different way because he's involved ROMANTICALLY, the child isn't. She just lost an adult mentor as far as she is concerned, not really a "friend" or a romantic partner/gf, etc. Parents are parents and it took sperm and egg to make her so in a way, she LITERALLY still has two parents, unless the bio dad is deceased.

The main issue here is taking on someone else’s child, as a 15 year old and that child now calling you daddy. They aren’t married, they are 18 years old. Anything can happen and that child is the one person who is going to be majorly hurt by all of this. Regardless of the gender the parents are, this is an issue.

He is still a kid. I dont think it is right to confuse the child (daughter). The stepdad is a 15 year old kid. What happens if they break up. Is he willing to be a part of the childs life? What if the biological mom doesn't allow them to have a parent-daughter relationship after they break up. The kid has no legal claims. Just be there as a bonus parent. You never know what life will look like in 10 years or even after highschool.

listen, i really wish all the best for you. if transitioning is what you need when you turn 18, go for it. but i just wanna say i started my medical transition at 18 and many years later i came to regret it. please look into therapy, specifically therapy that is unbiased. if this is what you need, all the power to you. but if you can live happily without it, don’t do it. you can’t take back medical transition, so just be sure.

So thought I would answer this. As a trans person that also uses he/they pronouns this is my understanding. I think you are confusing his pronouns for an identity. He is a trans guy. That in itself is just who he is. His pronouns are he/him AND they/them, meaning they use both. Remember pronouns are a normal thing, everyone has them. “They” is just an additional pronoun, nothing to do with his identity. Hope this helps 😌

I see no problem with this they are a happy family, sure they are young but they are all happy. The child is happy and most likely will be supported in everything. I follow them on tiktok and they seem like a completely normal family.(even better than my family)
