If you want to run and lift I think nutrition is one of the most important aspects. You need the carbs, you need the protein, and you need green veggies. Most people don’t eat enough as it is… when I’m training for a race (running 4-5 xs a week (30-40miles) and lifting 2-3 times a week- I’m consuming a boat load of food. My coworkers ask me “how do you eat so much and stay in shape” MFR I be working!
@AlexRieder-u5q Жыл бұрын
how many calories per day would you recommend for seriously gaining weight (10kg or more) - which is not only "water" but real weight?

I figured around 85g protein, 500g carbs and some 80g fats per day?

I always say the same thing to people I work with. I’m 6’3” and right around 205lbs at around 11-12% bf. I am on my feet for at least 10 hours and walk a minimum of 6-7 miles a day at work, no breaks. Then I usually run a minimum of 3 miles after I pick my kids up and the wife gets home. Then I lift 3 or 4 days a week as well. I eat about every 3 hours and people always ask how I eat so much food. My average calories burned a day are 3700-4200. Depending on if it’s a lift/run day or just running. I’m up at 3:40 am every day and go to bed around 10-11pm depending on how tired I am. That’s the one area I need to do better but I don’t get much time to myself until the kids are in bed at 8pm so I sacrifice some sleep. As Cam Hanes says keep hammering.
@AlexRieder-u5q Жыл бұрын
so if i want/need to gain weight (at least 5-10kg) you would definitely recommend 3000-4000kcal per day for me?@@thorshammer5134

Gonna love your videos when your little one is 2-4 years old , the dreaded sleep regression will start for her (possibly) . But it's amazing how your body adapts to broken sleep whilst training for a marathon this April.

Been running since November took my running more serious of November 2023 I still ran before but like only 2 times every other week which I’ve always have weight trained but I started taking running more serious in November running 3 times a week for 4 miles in 30 minutes on top of weight training and boxing 3 to 4 times a week of which I’ve for years now, but I started the new year off this year of January 1st 2024 with 5 miles in an 1 hour on top of weight training 4 times a week, the only problem I have is I don’t have a good enough app that’s free to track my running speed but I’m starting this year with 5 miles trying for 3 to 4 times week on top of weight training and boxing, lol no pre workout or supplements either I can’t afford it im as natural as it gets but gotta put in the work no matter what for my family to be in good health But I thank god for your inspiration I’ve been watching your videos like every day for 2 yrs straight it does a heart good to see a dad like you being their for your family and most importantly praying and teaching your little girl about the grace of god, I really wish I would of thought and started a fitness program or business when I graduated high school in 2017 but I would of loved to of helped people with that and help them with breathing issues and to help them have more energy because I struggled with being able to breath for a year and 3 months straight when I was a kid DIDNT have any strength in my body at all and throughout my entire life I’ve always been weak…. But thanks be to god for helping me and giving me strength to force myself to have better breathing and now thank god after all these years my energy is unbelievable and god sent you in my life and it has truly motivated me to GO ONE MORE everyday I thank god for who he has created you to be Nick. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which also ye have received and wherein ye stand by which also YE ARE SAVED if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you unless ye have believed in vain, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.. ( If anyone believe Jesus finished all the work for their sins on the cross they are saved and as Paul says God takes the righteousness of Jesus and covers us in his righteousness and washes all our sins away with his precious blood( We’re saved and redeemed and gods child forever )

Will you be releasing the cycle you’re currently on? Would be cool if you shared what it actually takes to have both the endurance and mass that you carry
@ChristopherEGr33n33 Жыл бұрын
I mean, why do you think he is in a "cycle"? It's not like the bulk was built while he was an endurance athlete and it has shrunk since focusing further on endurance. With enough strength training the body has a reason to keep the size around. But...... Will gladly eat my worlds in light of other evidence.
@stuey4419 Жыл бұрын
I highly doubt he is on a cycle, he is extremely diligent about what goes into his body. he's aware enough about his longevity in the sport to understand the negative repercussions of taking gear. I'm sure he has thought about or even done his research about roids but I HIGHLY doubt he is partaking in them.
