I cannot in good faith continue to only lift weights and consider my cardio a 30 minute session on the stairstepper after watching this video. Been a supporter for a while and will be only buying my supps from BPN going forward. Been on the hybrid fence for a while as well but I'm committing 100% going forward. This man is a huge damn inspiration and I look forward to shaking your hand one day and thank you for showing what's possible through commitment and hard work.

As always, this Hyrox prep has been very valuable and inspiring. I have adjusted my training and copied some of your workouts and I am seeing some improvements. But, the main thing I did was login my workouts and even rest days to be able to analyse and quantify progress - I am using Notion for this and made a little database that I can easily check which exercises are progress and which are staying behind. Looking forward to see the results on November 23rd 👏🏾 Keep up the hard work, father-business owner-athlete life is certainly not easy but SO REWARDING!

One thing that really clicked for me watching you and Dr. Mike is that the mistake I’ve been making is trying to grow my athleticism and lose weight at the same time. You were dead on with fueling for performance, but often with weight loss we’re fueling for the minimum and not for improved performance. Performance can come laterz Thanks Nick for all you do!

Other than it being delicious, are there other reasons you prefer it to other types of breads???? Does it seem like it actually fuels you better??? Genuinely curious.

Same here. I live in Wisconsin. The best cure is to go out and do your workout in the cold. I had a job for several years working outside year round. That cured my aversion to the cold. Next progression was working on my tan in the snow lol. Treat it like you do your fitness routine. Crank up your cold exposure slowly over time and be sure to get enough protein. Anecdotally I stay warmer on a slightly lower carb diet. Not ideal though if your goal is to train like Nick.

You talk about you”pre-workout meal” (the open face chicken salad sandwich), How soon before your workout are you consuming this? Im trying to understand the digestion period. I have a hard time eating and then hitting the trail or the gym immediately after. I usually need a couple hours. Just wondering how much time you give yourself between eating and your workout. Keep up the good work (I’m routing for Robin Persegol in November though).
