Bargello Quilt Block Tutorial - Easy Tube Method - NO Seam Ripping

Hello peanut gallery! I came up with a very easy way to make bargello quilt blocks using the tube method but with no seam ripping! This is great for those of you who like random blocks that don't take much planning and very little effort. I just love your videos and your whole attitude toward quilting! I started quilting 20 years ago and just couldn't handle the fact everything had to be SO perfect and quilt show worthy...so I quit. 2 yrs ago I found Missouri Star and loved her easy, non perfect quilting style! Hi Darlene - I just love your three Bargello blocks. I think I like the second one the best and hope to see a mini quilt with this design. I've made 4 Bargellos and they were all so concise and hard that you couldn't leave them for the next day half done because you would never remember all the terrible steps, seam ripping and so on. Could it be that you like the blocks where there is a real contrast between each fabric? Maybe try one that is obviously light-dark-light-dark? That would make the bargello 'flow' more obvious.

The fabrics would have shown up if I had staggered up and down and up and down. Keeps the colors in blocks. But I just kept going down on this one so the colors were more separated.
