Lol. That was not Vegeta's galick gun from the ghost. It's actually picollos and Gohan demon flash attack- masenko blast. Buu has never seen the galick gun. The English dub version changed it on us. Original Japanese audio, as well as the form the ghost used showed it to be the masenko blast

Vegito vouches for it commenting on his power boost. Telling him not to waste it. Not long after, the super ghost attack is used by buu. It fits, makes complete sense. At least to me...

I don't remember if it was a dub error or if it was also in the sub, but the second attack the ghosts use wasn't actually the Galick Gun. It was the Masenko, which is both Piccolo's and Gohan's attack.

There was a mistake in translation, when Vegito was running from the Kamehame-ha of the buu ghosts, the other ghosts that appeared in front of him did the "Masenko" technique that Gohan uses, it's not Vegeta's "Garlick Gun" attack

Vegito running away from the ghost Buu’s Kamehameha is the exact same thing when Frieza did Krillin’s move Destructo Disc and the disc was following Goku’s movements and the only way Goku could shake them was for the disc to follow Goku as he is going to Frieza’s path so the disc will destroy him instead, the same thing in the Cell saga when Cell tried to same maneuver on Goku and back in the OG Dragon Ball when Piccolo aka Junior shot a ki blast that was follow Goku everywhere and the only way he could shake it off is to have Piccolo get hit by his own blast

In the sub the ghost do the Maseko not the Galick Gun which makes more sense lol the gesture over the head plus Buu would know the Maseko from Gohan and Piccolo makes more sense

I agree, as much as I love the buu saga it felt like our hero’s were stupid. Consistently allowing buu to get stronger when they could have beat him. Obviously they wanted to keep the story going but at the expense of them making stupid decisions was lame.

Yeah I remember as a kid that it would go back and forth with animation styles a little. High detail to more fluid fighting but with lower detail.
