Thank you so much for taking the time to educate us on home distilling. I love your videos. Thank you for showing me the ropes. Look forward to a new video or a farewell sign off

“I’d rather have a hole that’s too small, because I can always take out a little bit. If the hole was too big, you can’t put anything back.” George, never have truer words been said. 😉

to be fair you can but stuff back it is just a LOT harder to do

Awesome videos, im building a powder coating oven from scratch and wasn't sure how to wire two heating elements using a pid and ssr. These two videos gave me the basic idea I needed. Now to figure out how to fobit without the outlet and switch. My setup will plug directly into a dedicated 240v stove outlet with a dedicated breaker that i use as the switch.

Awesome video George. Thank you for us uneducated. One question, could you provide a complete parts list and where you purchase those items? That would be fantastic

Again, thanks George, I would surely rather have paid you to send one, but looks like I’m building one today

I am huge fan. Great Series! I built a PID controller. I bought a 100A AC Digital LCD Panel Meter Current Meter Monitor Energy Ammeter Voltmeter from ebay. I installed it just like you instructed. I schematic was facing up. When I turned it on it was upside down. Not fun.

Baking soda will activate and harden the super glue instantly and makes a super hard polymer, it's what they use to repair deep scratches and small chips on carbon fiber rotor blades on air craft!!!!!!! Super stuff pardon the pun lol

Love your videos....to upgrade to a 30 amp system the receptacle and cord plug need to be changed, or will the on/off switch need replaced?

George, is there a difference when you place the temp probe in the “point of no return” using a thermowell or directly into the vapor. . . Even in reaction time or does it not matter?

Also, the "Dremel" tool , a Rotary Tool, with a "Flex Shaft" that your using. I see that Harbor Freight has a flex-shaft for there cordless one, but not the AC power one. Where do you get this??

Do you have a hard copy cheat sheet list the parts for the 240v PID?
@bloombrewingCo.4 жыл бұрын
The "Flair Drill Bit" you use is actually a Countersink Drill Bit, so I assume this is what your using to hide the screw heads.....

Hi good stuff George! I can see the switch on electricbrewery.com are 10 amps only whats the difference for controlling the camco 5500w?
@BarleyandHopsBrewing4 жыл бұрын
It is always wise to switch the lowest current requirement. The controller itself is very low so if it doesn't work the element doesn't work. Switching the controller is the smart way to go

Yea it would be much quicker to use a CNC... might take a little to make the file but once done would be a big time saver.

Have a circuit that can handle 30 amps and use 10 gauge wire.

@jasonblanton71854 жыл бұрын
You can just take the controller off a hot water heater and use it to control your element!!! Just saying it would work !
@BarleyandHopsBrewing4 жыл бұрын
Not without retrofitting the controller. Max setting on the controller is around 150 F.
