Even though I hail originally from Essex (now Norfolk), I must be one of the few people in the world who has absolutely no time for or interest in fords. My old Dad once owed a Corsair but that was the closest I came! I was always Vauxhall. Always enjoy your video content 😊

Wow, so very well done, definitely the best car auction video that I have seen, very well explained and viewed, and some fabulous vehicles here, probably something for everyone. The Renault 16 at 50.17 was certainly a favourite of mine as I owned two of these 2nd hand one after the other and I am informed they are quite scarce now so will be interested to see what this one goes for, the Thunderbird was a great car too! So brilliantly done and good luck to everyone on the day! Thanks for this.

Interesting engine swop. 900cc Lancia. Had a quick look but cannot see what it came off. Is it still MOT exempt. Substantially modified.

The "Is it MOT exempt?" debate is one I always avoid wading into, as I've owned hotrods for years 😂 It would have been handy if the swap had been declared a couple of decades ago, I'd have thought (if it happened back then), but someone far more knowledgeable than me would have to jump in at this point and answer your question.

Lots of barn finds in the auction suspect the pennies dropped that people are not spending the money on them,I saw a quote in the media which I think summed it up "all the people who want a E type have got one" we will see but I think the sellers are going to be disapointed.

It’s certainly the case that generations have moved on. The people I mix with in my daily life are a lot more interested in 1970’s-1980’s cars. That said, earlier cars do have their following and The David Brown Collection, for example, will attract interest from all over the world. It’s going to be an interesting weekend!

Enjoy your videos very much, but would be a little more interesting if you shared a more broad focus on all generations of vehicles. I noticed you tend to focus much more heavily on late 70s early 80s vehicles, missing a larger audience, of car enthusiasts pre & post that era. Best wishes from Australia.
