PTTP what's your opinion of live-streaming - it could count as "communicating" stuff likely to be used for terrorism under the s45, so it might give them an excuse to arrest you if its live. If it isn't, live remote backup is still required in case your phone is seized.

@Culture Vulture Papi Travels Being British, we are free to do what we want unless it is unlawful or illegal. The courts haven't decided live streaming is "communication" and so until then it isn't unlawful or illegal - that's my guess anyway. It probably comes down to the definition of publishing/broadcasting and if it applies to a live stream or twitter post etc - Google argues that they are not publishing or broadcasting, but juries think the internet is broadcasting because they are a bit thick.

It is clear PTTP is a top level auditor who seems duty bound to do what he does for the right reasons. He is polite and efficient and very effective in his education duties. A pleasure to watch and very entertaining as the ball is clearly put in the court of the subject - meaning only they can redeem themselves. PTTP makes such audits look effortless. PTTP has to be a most (perhaps the most) formidable auditing opponent, but seems to welcome dialogue and always accepts constructive criticism or remarks in a gracious way. This was a pleasure to watch and the 'London Trilogy' is auditing legend in the making and an auditing epic - fantastic.

You're absolutely right. There's become a new 'law enforcement class' and they're going to do everything they can to protect the political and social elite who empower them and allow them to violate the rights of the citizenry with near-impunity. This is why you see so much of an overreaction when people are filming large businesses and/or anywhere the political and wealthy class gather and next to no reaction when crimes are committed out in the community. @@romich4536 He's not putting himself down, he's talking about a despised institution in society, police. Why do you think people call police these names? Why are they so despised in the community? I'll tell you why. It's because so many of them are willing to bully a citizen out of their rights, it's because cops are now the tool the government uses to protect its donor base - the corporations - from protest action, it's because so many people have poor experiences with police when they've had property and crimes of violence committed against them, it's because police are the ultimate hypocrites who'll fine or arrest a person for a crime that they or their colleagues will commit with impunity... If your job revolves around dealing with unpleasant characters and criminals, you probably become quite jaded and assumptive of people’s actions. Hi. I was under the impression the 'Supreme Court' building is in the old 'Middlesex Guildhall', later used as a Crown Court until converted around 2007. The 'Westminster Hospital' seems to have been converted to luxury flats. We visited the Supreme Court during an open day and although a nice building, it lacks prestige - especially compared to the Court of Appeal (Royal Courts of Justice) building.

@@markosmith8037 Westminster Hospital: Broad Sanctuary site In 1831, a new site at the Broad Sanctuary opposite Westminster Abbey was acquired, and a new and spacious hospital building was completed and opened in 1834, of an embattled quasi-Gothic character, erected by Messrs. Inwood at a cost of £40,000. The hospital was situated by the Broad Sanctuary and the northern side of the nave of Westminster Abbey, between the Sessions House and Victoria Street, and accommodated about 200 in-patients, and the total number of patients relieved annually, in an 1878 account, was about 20,000. According to the same 1878 description, "Patients are admitted by order from a governor, except in cases of accident, which are received, without recommendation, at all hours of the day or night".[2] It was the first subscription hospital erected in London, and was incorporated in 1836.[2] According to Wiki...en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_Westminster_Hospital,_London._Engraving._Wellcome_V0013809.jpg

I spent a few days in London once and went around to all the touristy places. The two things that stood out the most was that cops were absolutely everywhere and so were tourists filming literally everything. I dont see why theses police are so petrified of people filming

I completely agree, but isn't it funny how the police get blamed for everything, and they should always be doing 'something else' 😆. I'm not disagreeing with you (I agree) but if they concentrated on one thing it would still be wrong. They should ask the general public - that'll never catch on ! 👍

I bet they had that street blocked off for some politicians having a photo shoot. As for putting your hand threw the fence to take a picture - you part own that place so how can you be trespassed? The grounds cannot be restricted as there is no sensitive information littering the grass is there? As for the two punks questioning this man with a camera. How dare they follow this man who can film anything he can see in public. It is an outrage! Are they taking tourists detail for photography.....no.....so they are just picking on the host community. I wonder if they have gone out and harassed google street. Until they do they can get lost. Imagine this pair dealing with children! This is an abuse of authority under the colour of law. Then having the nerve to ask about his plans for the day. What country do they think they are in - millions of people fought and died for our freedom and this pair think they can trample on their graves of our heroes. HEY COP YOU DO NOT HAVE POWER YOU ONLY HAVE AUTHORITY - ONLY A JUDGE AND A JURY HAVE POWER! TYRANTS NEVER LEARN! AND THIS MAN HAS THE EXACT SAME AUTHORITY AS YOU AS LONG AS HE IS NOT IN CRIME WHICH OF COURSE HE ISN'T!

16:20 Police do not have any right or authority to run checks to see if someone has any previous or has a warrant or is breaking their bail conditions. To get someone's name (other than a driving or section 50) the police have to make an arrest. They can de-arrest immediately, but they have to arrest. And then they will have to fill out a ton of paper work. So they try for the easy route and hope that just asking will get a result. The same with detaining someone, police do not have the power to detain (except for stop and search) while waiting for control to provide information. Again, they must arrest to be able to keep someone in place if they are not carrying out a stop and search. And outside of a section 60 order, they still need proper grounds to carry out a stop and search.

I used to find this genre of YT channels irksome, but I’ve learned to appreciate them. I realize you’re exercising your rights on the behalf of others. It also makes a huge difference when you stand up for yourself politely and non-aggressively - it leaves them absolutely stumped as to what to do with you. The others filming similar should take note!

And yet these armed police regularly kill innocent citizens. Armed police shot and killed an 18 year old girl 8 months pregnant by 'mistake'. She live just up the road from me and I have never forgotten that. There have been many 'mistakes' in the years that followed without consequence. Prancing about the streets of a FREE country questioning the host community about their lawful activity is just indicative of a police state in a dictatorship. How many of my family died fighting for our freedom and now we have this. It is scandalous.

@OncleM
@OncleM 2 жыл бұрын
@@sixcylinders6346 No, that's members of the public you are thinking of, armed with narwhal tusks from the 19th century, who tacked a terrorist with a knife and fake bomb vest on London Bridge - when the police got there, they shot the terrorist from range because of the clearly fake bomb vest. In a previous terrorist incident on London Bridge a few years earlier, a Chief Inspector of the Met was in a cab next to it and told the cab driver to get him out of there. Members of the public would have prevented the Manchester Arriane Grande bombing too if they had not relied on lazy security guards to call the police, and just taken him out themselves when they saw him trying doors while the concert was on, 3 times. Police and security guards offer the worst kind of security - false security. Personal responsibility is cheaper too.
