16:20 Police do not have any right or authority to run checks to see if someone has any previous or has a warrant or is breaking their bail conditions. To get someone's name (other than a driving or section 50) the police have to make an arrest. They can de-arrest immediately, but they have to arrest. And then they will have to fill out a ton of paper work. So they try for the easy route and hope that just asking will get a result. The same with detaining someone, police do not have the power to detain (except for stop and search) while waiting for control to provide information. Again, they must arrest to be able to keep someone in place if they are not carrying out a stop and search. And outside of a section 60 order, they still need proper grounds to carry out a stop and search.

Just in case you think he does ~ no, the police do NOT need to provide three forms of identification. Yer man here has read that on Google but didn’t bother to check the source which was … an Australian law firm, talking about … Australia.

A total of Zero fucks given for your rights and their procedures. Is it any wonder the Met is in such a state with such an inherent culture of disregard and derision for members of the public #earningthehate

I used to find this genre of YT channels irksome, but I’ve learned to appreciate them. I realize you’re exercising your rights on the behalf of others. It also makes a huge difference when you stand up for yourself politely and non-aggressively - it leaves them absolutely stumped as to what to do with you. The others filming similar should take note!

They most probably was just out getting close-ups to confirm you match your profile in their archives. How many civilian dressed followed you? (And, thousands of cameras.) Well done and thank you! PS: Weapons handlers were sooo tough and manly and stylish stupid.

And yet these armed police regularly kill innocent citizens. Armed police shot and killed an 18 year old girl 8 months pregnant by 'mistake'. She live just up the road from me and I have never forgotten that. There have been many 'mistakes' in the years that followed without consequence. Prancing about the streets of a FREE country questioning the host community about their lawful activity is just indicative of a police state in a dictatorship. How many of my family died fighting for our freedom and now we have this. It is scandalous.

And yet, in the event of a terrorist attack, those weapons handlers would be the ones running into danger while you were scurrying away in the opposite direction.
@OncleM2 жыл бұрын
@@sixcylinders6346 No, that's members of the public you are thinking of, armed with narwhal tusks from the 19th century, who tacked a terrorist with a knife and fake bomb vest on London Bridge - when the police got there, they shot the terrorist from range because of the clearly fake bomb vest. In a previous terrorist incident on London Bridge a few years earlier, a Chief Inspector of the Met was in a cab next to it and told the cab driver to get him out of there. Members of the public would have prevented the Manchester Arriane Grande bombing too if they had not relied on lazy security guards to call the police, and just taken him out themselves when they saw him trying doors while the concert was on, 3 times. Police and security guards offer the worst kind of security - false security. Personal responsibility is cheaper too.

The once Director of Liberty goes out of her way to back an Officer trying to infringe on your rights. Amazing what dangling a Peerage in front of someone can do. Baroness Shami Chakrabarti. A genuine shame to see that.

I am recently retired if I did not follow the correct procedures I would get a warning letter then if it kept happening I would be dismissed. It would be interesting to get video footage of this officer's body cam to see how many times he has failed to follow procedures when speaking to a member of the public.

PTTP, you're by far one of the top auditors, a black belt for sure, but please please please get the camera angle fixed on their faces, these tyrants will be happy that much of the footage clips their heads off filming their vests. put markers on your gimble or mount so you always know what's in view, smashing work you do keep it up
