BARRA SWAPPING MY S197!

barra is one of the best engines ever, only thing to watch out for is when they're boosted, too much boost too quickly tends to turn the piston rods into spaghetti. unless you have the LPG engine, those internals are stronger. only other thing would be piston rings, again failing with too much boost. but if you can manage boost (dont have a turbo that spools up too quickly) and have a good tune, these things are bullet proof.

Taxi motor is green rocker cover and a gas motor and it would have 400.000 km some have 1.000.000 and no manual taxis in oz

Dang they sold you a taxi motor,.. I live in Perth WA, barraz are $400 here complete running engine.. And the turbo Barra is about 2k but you get everything, turbo, intercooler, ecu, ect… That motor you got is the worst I’ve seen, it’s not a good look for that mafia joint!.. lol I guessed a taxi motor before I heard you say it… Watch that oil pump man, upgrade that asap, they’re known to fail..
