This guy SHOULD have been The Punishers Joker! He is an AMAZING Villain. He is an absolute monster but isn't actually that malicious. He's just very comfortable with violence and has no problem with it. If you hire him to kill someone he does it because it's his job. He is Franks equal in every way except he actually enjoys his Life and doesn't take things too seriously unlike Frank whose grimness prevents him from enjoying anything.

I love Barracuda cause it gives Punisher one of his best moments. Barracuda threatened to kill Punisher’s kid, Punisher blacks out. When we see him again he’s in a hospital and he basically deduces what happened. He broke wrists snapping handcuffs off, breaking his fingers punching Barracuda as hard as he could, there’s flesh in his teeth from when he Bit down on him and more. One of The best punisher moments ever.

Barracuda was written to be over the top and thus you’d have to make him over the top in live action to work. But his over the top violence isnt some joke or whatever like deadpools kinda violence its just violence for the sake of violence. And sure the punisher has his fair share of over the top violent villians in the max run, Dont think disney will do anything close to the max runs since they fucked the mcu and turned it into a joke. Id rather they ruin some other punisher villain the way they did jigsaw than see them bastardize barracuda. I have seen some comments suggesting Tommy "Tiny" Lister and Michael Clarke Duncan as good choices to play Barracuda if they were alive. However, I think Michael Jai White would be a better casting, as he hasn't had many bad guy roles, would be highly competent in the action scenes, and is a good enough actor that could add some depth to the character.

@@godking Yes that's true if the studio took the approach to retcon the character which studios have shown willingness to do most recently with the Namor character in the Black Panther sequel, or they could use make-up prosthetics to alter the look as in the case of Colin Farrell to play Penguin in the most recent Batman movie which I think would be more interesting.
