Just a little thank you Kevin. I've been seriously disabled since i was a small child (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis) Ive severely deformed hands and struggle daily. I love music and i tried guitar years ago, but because of my problems its impossible. My wife got me a uke to see if i could mange with them being small. Lo and behold I'm doing amazing! Obviously some chords will be impossible for me, but im jamming and having fun. Your tutorials are the best on here imho. Clear, concise, and with a lovely attitude. Thanks for helping me along pal, very much appreciated.

This video is so helpful, bringing the hand forward freed everything up and I’m not gripping the uke to make my finger flat. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. One of the main reasons I got my baritone is because I have never been able to get these down on guitar. I always have a tremendous amount of tension and even pain in my upper arm and even shoulder when trying Barre chords on the guitar. I just never seem to be able to get everything relaxed. It's definitely easier on the baritone though. The lower tension and narrower neck is making it easier to get the form down and then I will be slowly trying to get the same thing on guitar.

Dear Kevin, Could you do a tutorial of the song Can't be loved by Elle King. It's such a wonderful song, I tried it but it's bluesy without being bluesy. I want to be able to make it sound good on a yuke. Thanx for all your wonderful lessons!!!!!

Is it too complicated to learn tenor uke and baritone at same time? I love the sound of the tenor, but I miss also guitar tones. And of course I am not able to play guitar…

the chords name change but the position is the same, for example B# major chord posture on the traditional tuning is the same as F major chord on baritone, B minor chord is almost the same as F minor chord (1 fret difference), so you can safely use the same tips for both baritone and tenor ukes

Everything else aside I hate it when people say 'without further ado' and then launch into much further ado as you do in this video. If you are going to, have further ado ' before your actual content why preface it with' without further ado'??

What a dumb comment. You are getting exceptional, free instructions and you gave a dig a how he looks? That's absolutely pathetic if I'm totally honest. Says a lot about your character too.

Haha, ohhh boy…well, we all have an opinion. If I were able to learn to play from him…it wouldn’t matter to me one bit. I’m a non-playing SOB.
