Johnny had his day in court and said what he needed to say. I saw an interview with Camille, where she said if Johnny had lost the case, that would have been the end of it, but he needed to explain to his kids and people who supported him, what had happened. He’s now moved on. The on going fracas is engineered by his abuser. She has lost in the court of public opinion, and has found to be a liar and an abuser.

You don't even need Camille to say that. Johnny himself literally said he wanted to state his case. He would never believe he did what she says he did......and doesn't remember. But, if the jury had found him liable, then so be it. He would have moved on. ❤️❤️

I don't consider stating the time period you allege to have been abused and saying it was by your husband an "implication". She only had one husband. It's not implying it's Johnny, it's flat out stating it, IMO. Like if someone lied out their only brother and said their brother did x,y, and z, why would they literally have to say the name? We all can figure out who it is.

@@falecialogan1717 oh I’m aware it’s clear. I’m saying her statements are confusing. I’ve seen the trial and understand fully what happened. Her statements are not clear. My point is. She is contradicting herself with the statement that the article was not about him. And then admitted and accused him of domestic violence in court. Like it doesn’t add up. If the article indeed wasn’t about him. Then why did he need to prove innocence (glad he did) but why? Why did they argue that rout while also saying “it’s not about him” but then in court she admitted it was while saying it’s not basically. That’s what I was saying is confusing her perspective. My perspective is not that JD clearly proves himself innocent and I’m glad. I just don’t see how that article is not about JD. And was saying AH was lying when she said it was not about JD sorry if I wasn’t clear! Also for the record I followed the trial and watched most of it ;) it was quite satisfying watching a chronic liar get caught in the lies.

@@stephaniegentryart I think AHs defense argument was to claim that JD did abuse her but that the article was about her experience as opposed to what she claims he did and that because she was talking about herself rather than him that meant it wasn't about him. Here’s the way appeal courts work…they start at the very beginning, when the case was filed. Only information available at that time can be considered. They are ruling whether any judge’s decision was wrong. No new evidence, except for extreme circumstances, is allowed. No testimony on the stand is considered. Only the original evidence proffered is reviewed regarding the courts decisions. Was evidence suppressed or irrelevant evidence allowed, those types of decisions.

I think it's less she wanted to bring him down at this point and more this trial was a complete disaster for her. I daresay this may never have been about taking him down and was always about getting attention. If it was to take him down for daring to want to leave her, I think she would have faired a lot better if she hadn't written the op-ed and instead focused more on painting her story to her friends. Then manipulate her friends until one of them came out and said "AH said JD abused her, here is what I saw". Once one broke the silence the others would follow. That might have made a lot of JD's evidence against her irrelevant and made it more believable that she just "wanted this to be done" and "never wanted this public" and everything else she's been saying. She also could have done better with the makeup I think if this truly was about bringing him down. She didn't need the pictures of her injuries for attention, and I still believe the pictures of "his" drug abuse were of her own. I truly don't think this was about destroying him until recently. The whole time it was about attention and sympathy.

@@gleefulme9617 the judge from the UK case should be brought up on criminal charges. I don't know how it was even legal for that judge to sit on that trial. The conflict of interest was off the charts in this case. And yet the UK still somehow let him sit there, judge the case, and then let him retire with no consequences. I'm sorry but that's a huge miscarriage of justice. The ideas that "new evidence" will help her appeal are really pissing me off. It's not new just because it's publically available now. The vast vast majority of the withheld "evidence" was properly kept out and thus has no bearing on the verdict. There was no legal mistake made that warrants granting an appeal. No matter how hard Elaine and Heard tried to make issue out of things that weren't problematic, things were done properly. The MSM spouting on about things they're ill-informed on is old and tired. If you can't properly parse legal documents and don't understand what things mean, you shouldn't be writing clickbait articles about it. The implication for JD is the time that Ms Heard said she came out about DV and stated, ''2 years ago''. That was just after she filed for divorce. That truth implies defamation for JD, in my humble opinion.

And this is where I am not happy about JD's kindness. If I was in his position, after all she did, I would squeeze every penny out of her, so that she cannot afford any shenanigans. @@jochenrudiger but at what point does it stop being the bigger person and start being the enabler? This is what we have to ask ourselves as a society. Because we can't just keep being nice to people that aren't nice back. They're never going to learn. Just like Amber Heard is still pulling her s*** so is every other narcissist who was never taught a lesson. I'm dealing with a woman in her 50s who's trying to illegally evict me even though she's the one that's broken every law on the books. Why is she like that? Because no one ever taught her a lesson. But I am, I'm going to sue the sh_t out of her and I'm going to take her for everything she has. And she's going to think twice before she ever f_cks with somebody again. It is time to stop being the bigger person in a world where that will not stop anyone from walking all over you.

As always gentlemen, a concise and insightful discussion. I could listen to you for hours. Thank you ! My question is….even if the verdict were reversed, what would AH actually achieve? Would she not potentially be even more disliked and even less employable ? I appreciate the money aspect, and perhaps that would be enough for her. She seems to have the skin of a rhinoceros as far as taking criticism is concerned, perhaps another trait of an “alleged” narcissist. After all that has transpired, if AH’s appeal were to be upheld, would JD then once again be vilified by the media and public?

The reason the first amendment doesn't cover defamation is because it is a call to action. If you defame someone in public you are calling for them to be arrested, lose their reputation/ job/ family/ friends or even have violence committed upon them. It's the same as incitement. I don't understand why AH doesn't get this.

I get the feeling that Elaine was constrained by Amber and could not get into a groove. It really seems like she could not operate efficiently, like an anchored boat trying to sail. I get this feeling from her pledge statement. There is no way a lawyer of her expierence chose that wording by accident. As I think on this writing my comment I am more confident Amber would not listen to Elaine and as a result Elaine spent all her efforts trying to clean Ambers messes. That is why Elaine wasted no time before hitting the interview tour. I wouldn't be surprised if Elaine retires after this. I would too after this if I was in her place.

@@mandycmorris I am not sure about intimidated but she was definitely frustrated by AH. You do have a valid point about the tour being to try and salvage her own reputation, whatever the reason it failed in my eyes as no better light was shown for either of them to me.
