I love how thrown off she was 😂

What can you say, the writing is good. She was so self absorbed, she think shes the prettiest and the best actor in her class. Through her mind it made sense that any guy that walked her home would want to have sex with her. Pretty good show eh?
@aztros81283 жыл бұрын
@@kenji1856 I think she was mostly shocked that this was maybe the first time she’d encountered a guy who was a few feet away from her doorstep and wasn’t expecting sex. Barry is a true gentleman.

He'd worked out extensively for the show and has admitted to being kinda disappointed no one noticed.

This proves Barry is genuinely nice, but he still needs help dealing with his violent tendencies.

yeah whats a bunch of murders compared to trying to get laid

3 years on, we’ve learned that Barry isn’t so much “nice” as a dissociating, traumatised narcissist. The things he has done are so terrible, that there is no coming back from them. But I hope that he at least realises that at some point, and tries to genuinely atone rather than continually killing people to save his own ass. Hader could make any character likeable, of course.

@@Henry-kz4gn I know you're being sarcastic, but this is literally the mindset of every incel ever and that is utterly hilarious to me.

That was so awkward. Love how she looked so thrown off when he turned her down!
@TheCoolerChannel4 жыл бұрын
A lot of more important scenes show how good this show is but I like these awkward in between climax scenes where nothing really interesting is happening but it shows how normal everyone is. I’m seriously considering rewatching this show and I just finished it a couple days ago

Sally Reed really gets around. Naughty girl...
@namedidii2 жыл бұрын
Their relationship is so tragic. She had a vague idea what Barry was (a man capable of incredible violence with little afterthought) but she just couldn't put it together. And boom! Sally's in love with an unhinged freak again
@andrewstephens58852 жыл бұрын
Bruh rewatching these clips has me going “dawg, you ruin this girl again, but worse! Get away from her!” So much of the second season also has this ‘walls closing in’ feeling and their co-dependent relationship while reenacting this abuse story live, really adds to that feeling. I felt terrible for sally when I just watched her dance from the first episode💧
@JCMiniPainting Жыл бұрын
No after-thought? Isn't like half the show dedicated to showing how traumatized he is by his own violence? How does that not count as after-thought? Like every time they show him get violent, there's immediately a scene where he snaps out of it and regrets everything. That sure looks like after-thought to me. I think you meant "aboslutely no fore-thought".

He couldn't be nice about the fact he couldn't sleep with her. He's listening through a door and he can't seem to cure himself. It's not that he wouldn't sleep with her but his mind is fucked.

I first thought this scene suggested Barry was asexual. Kinda disappointed when he wasn't
@sarcasmxkate5 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting take! That would have been a cool road to explore. I just think they set it up in the first episode when he was watching her on the dance floor, I was surprised it went as fast as it did though. But it was nice to see the opposing view of the man getting attached too quickly first instead of the woman. I mean buying her that laptop after hooking up once? Yikes. Haha.
@ForwardTu5 жыл бұрын
That would've been stupid.
@johnyreyes35675 жыл бұрын
@@ForwardTu why? Barry is sorta like the antithesis of the badass, cold blooded Hitman. Like that one vet, can't remember his name, the bald one, is supposed to be the opposite of Barry. With his love of violence, women, ect Would've been cool if Barry just wasnt interested in that stuff

@@johnyreyes3567 I mean...it would make sense. I can see the character being asexual. But I personally don't agree with it. Nothing against asexual people though.
