"Hell Is For Children" is another ESSENTIAL Pat Benatar song!!!
@MarkMay-cr6bv3 ай бұрын
Good song, but I've always wondered who was the genius that decided it was a good idea to follow "Hell Is for Children" with "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" when they were finalizing track listings for "Crimes of Passion." Somebody didn't think that one through. Although technically the songs addressed different subject matter, it wasn't a good look.
@Patryn713 ай бұрын
@@MarkMay-cr6bv Even though the subject matter may have been a bit different, it makes total sense to follow Hell is for Children. It's about getting back up from the worst that life can throw at you, and child abuse is one of the worst things that can happen to a person. Being able to overcome that and thrive in life is a great follow up to such a horrible subject.

- "Invincible" (1985) is a deep cut from a movie release. - "We Belong" (1984) features Pat backed by a children's chorus. - "Heartbreaker" (1979) The first time I heard this song it was used in a girl's pom pom routine in high school. - "Love Is A Battlefield" (1983) Evicted from her home, girl goes out to search for a new life. To me this like the other alone in the streets song "Never Surrender" by Corey Hart. I last saw Pat Benatar at Summerfest, a music event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This coming days at the start of August at the Wisconsin State Fair I expect to be entertained by local bands and the cover songs they play.
