Been here yesterday in Bangalore. They charge Rs 320 for unlimited meal. Its very crowded on weekends. We have to wait in queue before getting table reserved for us. Its better to have holige at last. Buttermilk, jolada roti , sprouts gravy, chutney podi was awesome. Its heavy lunch so better to skip breakfast and go here. Quality of food is good. Try avoiding veg pulao here and taste rice sambar here. My recommendation is have max 2 jolada roti. Paan which was given last was not sweet. Never serve urself too much of food, unless u are able to complete it. People who are health conscious will like the food here. I feel amt which they have could be Rs 250.

Jolad Rotti - badnekai palya, kaalu palya, khanavali oota is all about the hot spices and the taste of North Karnataka. However, these restaurants in Bengaluru seem to defy that. The jollad rotti restaurants here in Bengaluru have changed that very definition. In the race towards fine dining and sophistication, they have manipulated the tastes to a very bland level. The people who have tasted the original meals would be in for a shock. The vegetables and curries, groundnut chutney have to be spicy to that level. The brinjal palya has to be oily... Yes it is. Else, how is it different compared to other fine dining places ? After all it's once in a while people come to eat it. If the people are sensitive and too consicious, they should stay away. But the restaurants should not meddle with the original recipes just to draw crowds.
