20:53 You were correct in the fact that it was using an automation less gas filter. I did not expect to be able to fit all the pipes inside the area, but it all worked out in the end. Using 4x4 modules for electrolysers + filterless filters was my most reliable design for cramming a large amount of electrolysers inside a small area, try this with conventional designs and you quickly need double the space
@fahrimertdincer84213 жыл бұрын
Just one question you have more than enough power why not using normal filters to waste power XD Edit its looks so beautiful and chaotic ım just wasted 5 minute for analyzing it and worth it
@FerrybigGaming3 жыл бұрын
@@fahrimertdincer8421 We have 16 gas pumps, you could combine pumps together to get 8 flow lines, but the mixing of the hydrogen limits the flow rate. So you need between 8-16 gas filters total. Gas filters are quite bulky, as they take up 3 tiles on the front layer. The overview looks complicated, as there are 8 long vertical filterless filters, and each has 2-3 bridges to make sure that under any situation, every hydrogen packet is shunted over to the hydrogen side. One of the tricky parts was that this oxygen setup was build before the industrial brick with its power plant, so the output hydrogen was used for the first powering. This is also why the liquid tanks have switches to turn on/off liquefication. The 2 hydrogen pipes at each sides were the old supply down to the hydrogen generators, and are now only connected to the drecko farm, so the farm can refill itself of hydrogen ever escapes from it (in which case the sensor at 23:00 which is normally covered in hydrogen reports oxygen)

28:41 its simple, we have 4 oil wells hooked up in total, producing 13.333 kg/s oil ignoring downtime, but we only consume 10kg/s in the petroleum boiler, we have to throttle the last one. A sane person would have used an high level shutoff switch, but this circuit keeps running the oil well until it has vented, and then waits until the oil level drops before activating the oil well again
@FrancisJohnYT3 жыл бұрын
That is brain breaking for me :) I'm all about that simplicity. All that automation to vent the well before shut off is a mad investment, I would ask why but why is a silly question when it comes to ONI.

~13:05 - contrary to everything I've seen or read about how only power consumers can overload circuits - I had 6 manual generators feeding into a large transformer feeding into the batteries on the main power spine, got overloaded wires in the manual gen side whenever they were all used. Same thing with two 1Kw transformers, same with replacing 1 manual gen with a smart battery. My guess is that transformers count as consumers to the sending side.
@FrancisJohnYT3 жыл бұрын
That is true, transformers are counted as consumers. Though I cannot understand how with a 2kw wire and 2*1kw transformers you got overloads on the supply side. It should be impossible for the transformers to request more than 2kw.
@ahmataevo3 жыл бұрын
@@FrancisJohnYT - I think what might be happening is that the power transfer was limited to a total of 2 x 1Kw for 2KW on the receiving side, which is the main power spine. But it is possible that, given all my batteries were on the spine, charging those and sending power elsewhere through the spine kept the transformer's charge empty, is still able to draw any amount from the sending side into its own capacity, which may not adhere to the 2kw draw limit of the wire, while still maintaining the draw limit to the receiving side. And that is why we never see any issues when connecting transformers to draw from a 50KW spine to a 2KW wire.
