It's hard enough to pull a psa 10 gem mint card from a 2018 pack.... gem mint cards over a hundred years old from some of the most significant cards in history is completely mind blowing... you could never make me believe it if I'd didn't hit me right in the face.

What a great story. And just imagine all the amazing finds that have been thrown away by ignorant finders over the years. I'm glad these people had enopugh sense to do some homework. There's plenty more out there just waiting to be found and hopefully not get thrown out.

If the box says Play Ball why are they considered to be Bowman and not Play Ball cards that were issued from '39 to '41?

I would have got them graded by PSA & kept them.

I had a red 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth in EX condition and traded it for a box of upper deck in 1989. I got it when my grandfather died and I was only nine years old when I got rid of it. It hurts. Sorry Pap.

same thing as hitting the lottery. Maybe even higher odds of all these cards being in this great shape than actually hitting the lottery.

Are they gonna divide up the money between 30 family members?

Hundred grand each ain’t bad. They should have sat on them for a few years and they would have doubled their money

i don't like how PSA notes "black swamp find" on the label. or "dmitri young collection". PSA is suppose to be unbiased grading. yet they have labelling showing bias.

The purpose of this is typically to preserve provenance.
