are you mounting those strip lights on aluminum channels to act as a heat sink or just mounting them directly to the slat surface with the adhesive>

Good idea! I mounted them directly to the wood slats. The slat is ripped to have a ledge the set against. Thanks for watching! 👍😁

Thanks! I would say yes it helps damper sound in the room. Keep in mind I stuffed rock wool insulation in between the floor joists to reduce sound transfer from upstairs. It might help damper sound in the room too. Thanks for watching! 👍😁
