7 Basic conversational phrases you'll learn with this video 🤓: 1. Hola ¿cómo estás? 2. ¿Cómo te llamas? 3. Mucho gusto. / Un placer. 4. ¿Qué vas a hacer hoy? 5. ¿Qué comiste? 6. ¿Qué me recomiendas...? 7. ¿Qué se te antoja hacer...? Stick to them whenever you'd like to start a conversation with a Spanish native speaker :)

Veng Sam actually as a gay guy I think we just kind of find it funny when we meet each other in everyday life. Like I go to college and occasionally you’ll be talking in class or whatever and the guy you’re talking to will maybe be flamboyant or will say something that gives away the fact he’s gay, and if you do the same then you just kind of smile at each other like that, not because you’re necessarily interested in each other or anything, but it’s a bit like this: Imagine if you were in another country (this situation had actually happened to me) and you’re speaking in a foreign language and you speak to someone in this language and you hear they have an accent. And then you ask “I hear you have an accent where are you from?” And you find out that they’re from the same country as you. You would probably react the same - you’d just kind of smile at each other and maybe warm up to each other a bit, not for any romantic reasons but just because you have that in common. It’s a bit like that.

If anyone is struggling with how quickly they are speaking, I highly encourage you to go to settings (upper right corner ⚙️ symbol), and you go to the bottom and select “play back speed.” There you can choose to slow the video down to .75, .5, or super slow .25. I suggest the .75 because it still sounds natural but slows it down enough you can more easily process the words and meaning as they are spoken. I hope you find this helpful.
