Thank you Oxana for this quick little tutorial. I actually used it on a beautiful Plum agate cross pendant that had a drilled hole on the very top. I didn't find the bail very secure so I wanted a sweet way to still sell this very pretty cross. Thank you for all your tips and techniques. You're a real gem to make all these videos for us. I wish I could send somebody your way but it's just not feasible for me. I'll never be able to thank you enough🙏💖🤗

I was laughing when you went oooh! The pliers fell..😂 so glad you didn't edit, as it helps us beginners to know we aren't all alone ...I'm always dropping things.

Glad you enjoyed, I also tend to drop things often, luckily it was just pliers and not the stone

Who in their right mind would give you a thumbs down.. hey this is @aumi.Jewels on Instagram... I sent you several messages well complements anytime I’m sure you’re super busy but that actually upsets me to see that somebody would give you a thumbs down probably because they’re jealous or something.... but I think it’s great that you help beginners start their way into the jewelry business...🤗

I love learning from you. The problem when I make this is the stone still falls out from the bottom so I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong
@OxanaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
If it falls out the bottom that must mean that gap on bottom is too wide. Is your round cabochon much bigger than mine, I usually find it a bit harder to trap the stone in securely with this design when stone is big.
@teresabyrd12662 жыл бұрын
@@OxanaCrafts I never even thought about that thank you so much. You are the most amazing I love to learn from you

This was great information, Thank you! Do you think this technique could be used for a necklace as well? Or would the gage have to be thicker?
@OxanaCrafts3 жыл бұрын
Sorry I am not sure what you mean, this is a pendant. Do you mean a bigger size stone? Yes if you want to use bigger stone I'd increase wire size a bit as well to keep it sturdy

@@mawi1172 I know that. However as it is a type of cabochon, it still counts
