I can't wait to learn everything from you. I have been watching your channel for straight 3 hours at 2x speed and I already feel like a professional lol. I am not a nail tech, but I like doing my nails and it saves me money while still getting a quality product. This channel made me realize I would love to be a nail tech, but I guess I can't throw my two-year path in college out the door. I could definitely do this as a hobby on friends and family only. Is anybody else on the same boat?

Thank you SO MUCH for all these videos! I'm not a pro and wanted to learn how to properly do a gel manicure on my own nails that would not lift or crack and be properly cured. After watching through most of your videos, you've taught me a lot more than what I was seeking! You eliminate the confusion of the purpose and proper use of various products as well as just the basics of a manicure, which I never properly learned. And now I know why I was not happy with certain gel manicures after leaving a nail salon. I am now competent to do my own; my manicures look good and are lasting a couple of weeks. Yay!

I am a nail artist enthusiasm with a lot of allergies that does her nails at home. Most products can't touch my skin and anyway where I live there are not professionals so I just prefer to do my own nails. I like to watch thousands of videos. I found your channel when I got interested on Russian manicure and I followed you since then. Now, lately I've watched all the videos of this series (except the first and last one because I hadn't had time to do so) and I've never commented before... I didn't do it because...you know, us humans usually are very lazy. I find them all very interesting but I knew most of the things you said. However with this one, Wich a lot of people would say looks the most simple and obvious of them all you have made that my application passed from not good enough to look amazing. I didn't know why I always ended up with a mountain close to my cuticle and little product close to it, and the last time I did my nails with your tips it was so easy and looked so so so good... Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!! It would be awesome if you could make one about mouth masks and all that. I can't find information about it anywhere, and I think it's very interesting to know about when to use them (only filing or also with application) which ones are best (materials, with valve or no valve, filters, etc). Maybe most people will find it boring, but I think safety is very important and it would be an unique video. Anyway I will keep watching because everything you do is gold.

Liz, thank you so much! I had to do a fill on a hard gel overlay that lifted a tad. After I thought I had filed and shaped it to look good, I discovered after I was putting my gel top coat on, that it was a little uneven and bulky in one area. I put a second coat of top on, concentrating and building it up in the area that helped balance out the bulkiness. Worked like a charm!

I love how you get all the nail with the color. I have nails that curve a lot some form a half moon shape. So I have deep groves on the side. I stopped getting my nails done and started doing my own because most of the nail techs never went down the whole nail. They would leave gaps on each side. I was taught to paint nails like you so this was a huge pet peeve of mine!

I love how she properly files the nail in one direction towards the top. Alot if the Asian salons file my natural nails in a sawing back n forth motion causing them to easily crack, split etc. Even when I ask them to file in one direction they say ok and continue to do the back n forth file .... I haven't been able to find a manicurist in my area to file properly!

Thank you for your videos :) you’re a great teacher, your explanations are so thorough. I was wondering if you could do a video about really light polishes and the shadowing that happens. I’ve had such bad luck and I know I’m doing it wrong but I can’t figure out how to fix it. I’m talking about colors from Light Elegance like Show me the Honey, Nude with Attitude, Pink Tutu, yellowjacket, pastel blue - colors like that. The only time I have success is when I put a ton on in one coat, super thick. It works but it doesn’t look good on a gel manicure. If you could speak to that it would be so great :) Thank you for your time!
