Just finished building the game! Always loved Lego and board games, and am definitely looking to enjoy this one. However, there’s just a few things I’m trying to better understand. Main thing right now being how exactly the monsters attack and move. I would love to see a full game walkthrough of you just playing start to finish. I’d honestly find it enjoyable and just helpful to see how exactly you determine monster decisions, attack strategies, searching, etc. Much love and excited to see the future content on this game!

I don't have any legos anymore, so as an adition to a rules pdf I would love to have a parts list for this game as a baseline set up.

This looks amazing, have you thought about a system for random room locations? Like a d3 to decide the wall the door is actually on? Or a 50% chance the door is on the wall you are searching. Then your rooms could be individual 6x6 plates. Although in the grand scheme of things it really doesn’t make much difference, unless you are rushing through the room.

Not to lessen the game's value on its own, but this would be a wonderful introduction to DnD(and other TTRPGs)

I've been dungeon crawling with lego heroica using a bunch of different systems like Knave and EZD6 rules, this look like another great way to do it! Looking forward to your pdf for this fun game!

Simple rule question? Could you place a trap on/over lava? I see an advantageous play to save spells if i dash properly and force a monster to move through trapped lava.

Honestly great well thought out rule set though I wonder how much it feels like it plays it's self aka how deep is it?

Good question. I have found it super entertaining and challenging (see the full play-through! 😊). One way around this is to play 2 player where one person is the monsters/beast. I have tried this with my kids and it worked well. ⚔️🛡️🔥👍

Wow, I found this really inspiring! I immediately had to think of the Lego boardgame I had as a kid. It also had 1x1 figures, so maby they would be neat to use as characters aswell! I defenitely want to build my own Bungeon of the Beast, it looks like a lot of fun and I got quite a feq ideas of expanding it, like different room sizes connected by hallways, more similar to classic DnD dungeons or themes, like a forrest, where you could exchange the lava and walls with hedges and trees, or swamps, where you have to dodge creatures murking in the water... I love this concept, it is so inspiring, and at the same time so obvious, I mean what physical toy is more modular and open for your own ideas than lego, and what kind of game is more versitile than PnP RPGs. I'm honestly shocked, that I've never seen or heard anything like this. So yes, I would be defenitely interested in more content about this. Have a good one, and looking forward for more :)

Essentially, yeah. Cut out little squares with abrivations for the playing pieces! I had awful luck and got ambushed by 3 orcs in each room leading to my defeat by room 3!
