Given that some of the requests to re-do this video are six months old, it seems fair to assume that either no one reads them or there is no incentive to listen to them. These videos are to welcome new users and help them start; it would be helpful if the speaker made it from our perspective. I will echo those who call for the (1) removal of the distracting background music so we can hear her; (2) follow one path all the way through at a slower than caffeinated chipmunk speed so we can track the process; and (3) give us some brief context so we know how what she is doing fits with the overall use of the platform.

One thing people do to help get more use out of this video is pause it every few minutes and try building things in your own account at the same time. We are planning to use Monday in our kitchen manufacturer company to update the status of each step, from making the design to the delivery of the kitchens, installing them and then rating. We use Zoho CRM, Google Sheet, Trello, and find using multiple software is like adding salt to the injury :( I just signed up with Monday, and now I am getting to know it. I hope it works.

Is it possible to edit the values in the "Progress" column? In my version it seems to be uneditable.

Hey! Great question! The Progress Column is populated from Status column on your board. To reflect changes in the Progress column, you will need to change the labels in your Status columns in that item. You can then change how much 'weight' each status column carries in the progress column settings. Hope this helps!

Yes, in order to assign someone to a Person column, they will need to be active in your account. Whether they be a viewer, guest or member. Hope this helps!

re-make this video with someone who speaks MUCH more slowly and clicks around much more slowly. Impossible to absorb everything being presented. I gave up only about two minutes into the video. If necessary, break it into two parts, but SLOW IT DOWN!!!!

lol...it doesn't need to be recut.....just slow the video down.......go to settings icon within the video above and click on "Play Back" and slow the speed down to 0.75..... This will help you.....stay safe!

@@Y_ruba_al that would not help much....this is supposed to be for new users, and the presenter clearly had WAY too much coffee before starting the presentation. Monday relies too heavily on impromptu videos for help, but they need more written (PDF) material. Tech writing fundamentals: You need to give customers a Reference Guide and a User Guide. The purpose of the Reference Guide is to provide an explanation of functions, with both a table of contents and an index so a particular function can be found quickly. The Reference Guide helps users learn how to do common tasks, which may involve using several functions in a particular sequence. Software providers will sometimes provide a Reference Guide, but rarely a User Guide. The User Guide, although it takes more work to produce, can dramatically increase customer satisfaction and cut down on customer emails and phone calls.
